Good thought. It seems counter to my previous vehicles if this is designed to leak into the atmosphere. That would cause a shortage in the fluid over time. These systems were designed, at least in recent history, to be sealed.

Would love to have some thick, wool carpeted inserts (a la Rolls Royce). I hear they are actually durable. My limited mats are starting to retain dirt and stains. Havent put them through a wash cycle but I have hand scrubbed the driver's side. However, mine do fit nicely still.
