I got the westin mounting kit, its bad ***. I opted to get some DOT led fogs to get a legal road use amber pattern down.

Does interrupting the red wire at the ignition connector also disable the cloned fob attacks? I mean will the fob still unlock and/or remote start the truck? Or is this just a basic starter kill at the button? Useful information here, thanks for posting.

I ran. 16gauge marine 2 conductor thru the firewall today. Path using a fiberglass stick that I sharpened. Took 3 tries. Got thru on the 3rd time in the oem grommet. Silicone lube helps. Posted to show the angle. Penetration of the firewall should be parallel to the ground/frame.

Drive the truck more. Also try removing neg batt cable for 10 minutes to reset the computers if that doesn’t work.

So far having the full spare with tpms has not caused any issues.

I was also thinking g about adding some tow hooks now that the bumper has provisions for them.

I do plan on getting some lights for the sides. The Westin kit is like $400, but it bolts right up with the correct angle and stuff. I may get some different led Cubes and fab up my own mounts. I really like yellow fogs which Westin doesn’t make from what I can tell.
