    I was referring to gaining a half mile in detection distance when mounted high. My best was picking up a Florida state trooper over 5 miles away on the alligator alley. The R3 is still a beast.

    I must respectfully disagree with that. Yes for laser, no for RF. The illumination pattern for k or ka band police radar microwaves at a separation of few miles is pretty big so no need to match the height of the source.

    IMO. #1 interferes with the visors. #3 too low for maximum reception. #2 for me. YMMW.

    Not wanting to jinx my self... Working as advertised so far at 96 k miles. Had some anomalies with the AS due to a poor ground connection, messing up the computers.

    Fakra H. You can replace just the plastic shell itself. Pull the side locking clip out and depress the small plastic retainer inside the housing to separate the assembly. This is for the female connector.

    I did see that with my chinese amazon sensors, they did take their sweet time to finally link up. Reported wrong pressures for random corners, one missing randomly. Not sure why? Maybe sending data back to their motherland...

    Oh boy, could be a problem with the RF hub. OEM should have linked in the first 20 miles or so. My two after market one`s took two days of short trips before they got recognized.
