Catalytic converter stolen; Progressive only endorse aftermarket converter, any issue?

nope?..ha ha...ok....believe what you want, I retired from the insurance industry. " What are the major sources of revenue for an insurance company? "The principal source of revenue for insurers is from insurance premiums, while the largest component of cost for insurers is claim payments...

Catalytic converter stolen; Progressive only endorse aftermarket converter, any issue?

many of you won't believe this, but I can tell you that insurance companies make LITTLE to NO profit from auto policies. In fact, some years they lose...the auto policy money is used to invest, real estate, stock market, etc.....THAT'S where they make their money. The way they measure cost in...

Catalytic converter stolen; Progressive only endorse aftermarket converter, any issue?

wow...so much confusion out there. Retired adjuster here. Wrote claims for a major ins carrier on the East coast. I have never written an aftermarket Cat...that's just nonsense, but Progressive is known for that kind of crap. Very sneaky company. When they first entered Mass a few years ago...

How do you update the GPS maps?

ya I hear you on that...personally I don't care for the wireless charger pad that much, seems to take forever to charge up the phone. I just use a cable and put the phone in the non-charging side of the holder. Charges way faster and lets me use th A-Auto too.

How do you update the GPS maps?

started to use Android Auto more and more on my 19 Limited, vs. the factory Nav....oem one is just so stupidly clunky to use, and so outdated...the A-Auto is miles better.

Had a Nice NEW camper for a few hours

there is really no such thing as a "well built" travel trailer...they are all built like crap. Once they get ripped open, it's just a sh*t show to repair. they are built from the inside-out, and so to get at inner structure the thing has to be basically dismantled. There is SO much potential...

    New Ram 1500 EV

exactly...the other thing they never seem to mention that much is the claimed range is usually with the vehicle equipped with the "extended range" battery....which is usually a $10,000-$15,000 option.

Had a Nice NEW camper for a few hours

as a retired insurance adjuster, I can tell you that it was VERY rare that we didn't TOTAL any camper/rv with any kind of significant damage. If we had them fixed, and any kind of water leak developed after the repair, we are screwed, and then there is the potential mold issues....no thanks...

    Buying used 2019 vs 2020 vs 2021 Laramie/Limited

bought my 19 Limited in spring of 2020. Couldn't be happier with it. Only thing that may be a big benefit to you is if you buy a 21, it may still be under full warranty, which is a pretty good reason to want it, but of course it will cost you a lot more than a 19. Good luck!

    Air conditioning performance

been pinched for Clamp has been on just a couple days. Make sure you pinch it a little ways up the hose to where the outer protective mesh starts, just adds a little more protection, and no need to clamp down hard on the hose, just to the point where it's squeezed good, but still leaves a...

    Air conditioning performance

guys..listen up...I have a 19 Limited. I always felt like the ac was adequate,...not GREAT...but did the job. Been saying that for years....ok, with that said, I finally gave in out of curiousity and put a Harbor freight clamp on the ac line, as seen in the "AC Hack" thread....OMG...the diff is...

    Outside Temperature Sensor

on advice of someone else around here, I pulled mine out, and disconnected it for a minute, then reinstalled. Helped a little, I guess it kind of resets itself. Honestly though, I don't really care if it's accurate. I know if it's hot or cold out.

Auto fold mirrors when doors are locked

unless it has been changed on the newer vehicles, on my 19 Ltd, you have to hit the button each time...no automatic setting. BUT....You can set it up to do what you want it to with the Alpha Bod aftermarket programmer I believe.
