That's kind of funny, but there were SUV's with completely plastic rear gates. When I was appraising for the ins co's a few years ago I first came across this. Think it was a Nissan Murano, might have been a Rogue...not only is the gate completely plastic, but it is pre-painted if you order one...
they all do pretty much the same thing..I have a "Pedal Commander". They take over the regulating of how fast your throttle body opens, the result can be almost instant response, with zero lag, IF you want that. there are multiple settings which mostly just regulate how much delay there is in...
So, doing a little tire rotating yesterday...have a new set of pads on the shelf, just because. Figured might need em by now. Wrong! Can't believe these pads still have what looks to me like 70% left!! At this rate I'll maybe be doing first brake job at 100K 😁
well...it definitely has something to do with how much they spent on the car, and how flawless the paint is...but to your point, there is some OCD involved for sure.
just to be clear, my "scenerio 3" point was not that all of us should drive beaters...more that there is a lot of folks who really can't afford these new trucks, but sell their soul to borrow their way into one. And that they forget that there is a certsin amount of freedom that comes with...
Ok...my Mandarin is a little rusty, but from what I can translate it says... ....." It looks like your warranty is about to expire..we have been trying to reach you to discuss an exciting offer...just for YOU!".....
Oh, I totally agree Jako, I always loved the "rough around the edges" trucks I had in the past...such freedom to just drive-park-not worry, and enjoy it for what it is. BUT, I do like having all the comforts now at 64 years old. "scenario 3" is where a lot of guys SHOULD be looking, it blows my...
I too have a 19 Limited. Best vehicle I've ever owned in 64 trips around the sun. Have there been any hiccups? yes, couple really small ones, service throttle body light with sudden loss of power in the middle of a cross country trip, pulling my belongings, with wife and mother in law! (figured...
save yourself the aggravation....just get the Harbor Freight hose clamp set, and clamp the ac line. You'll have to drive wearing a sweater after that! takes less than 5 minutes. Take clamp off in winter, on in summer.
super common for bumpers and trim pieces that are plastic, not to exactly match the rest of a vehicle. Especially common when you are talking 3 stage colors,(Pearl type). When I was an appraiser working in the field for the ins companies, we would automatically write a line in the appraisals...
aluminum has some benefits...but body work isn't one of them. Don't let just any old shop do work on aluminum if you have some dents. Make sure they are certified by one of the major manufacturers, need SEPERATE tools, a seperate stall, with dust shields around it, and some pretty good knowledge...
