Did you buy the truck new or used? That tear looks like it has body filler on it. If it is bondo, then that panel was damaged before and someone did a crappy repair.

Did you have to reset the center screen/radio? I enabled the off-road pages, but nothing changed.

I just did this about 2 weeks ago on my 21 1500 with the 3.6. I honestly have not noticed a difference, but if you still want to do it, attach it to the hoses labeled 1. It's going to be the top hose on the firewall and inside hose by the MGU. Hope this helps.
