Amazing weekend...man do I love this truck. I was able to participate and try to make Team USA for BMW's international off-road competition. I didn't make the team but had a blast. We did 20 challenges over 3 days with 3 being team challenges with a randomly assigned group. Each person starts...
Your bike is more fun than mine anyway! The 250R is surprisingly a top choice for many long distance travelers too. It can go anywhere, parts are everywhere and it's built like a tank. You can buy one used and then sell it for what you paid 5 years from now. Enjoy!
I guess a video might explain it. The bike is very long. With a 6'4" bed it hangs over about 4 inches of the tail gate so I ride up the ramp then turn right and then just pick it up and move it to the left. BMW Boxers have a tele lever suspension where there's a mono-shock instead of fork...
Update. Everything is done now for the interior electronics.
Dashcam all wired in
Blacked out EZ Pass holder at top of windshield
Radar detector + BlendMount is setup and configured and the cable management is perfect
USB C to Lightning cable routed up to iPhone mount so it's as clean as it...
Another trip, this time just the one motorcycle is going. I'm going down to Greer SC to BMW to compete for a spot on Team USA...me and 50 other people duking it out for a spot on the 3-man team representing USA in Albania next September against 25 other countries. 1100 miles each way for 2 days...
That step isn't necessary to get the discount. All you need is the Affiliate Number that True Car gives you. Here's how mine looked:
I just printed that and took it to Mark Dodge. I also sent them a targeted email offer I received via email and a few other discounts I had found and some of...
For people who find this thread later I ended up getting this - https://www.discountramps.com/ez-rizer-motorcycle-loading-ramp/p/MF2-9638-EZ/
in addition to this - https://www.motoprohq.com/truck-systems
Very happy with the setup:
Dealer had the truck for a few days. they said there were no updates and they flashed the system anyway with the currently installed software. The hotspot does work again but for how long, no one knows. I'll just keep an eye on it I guess?
Heads up to northerners, catch cans separate out water which is good but water freezes so it will become something you need to check regularly if you are in below freezing environments. A frozen line blocking EVAP or the flow of air can throw codes or cause damage and keeping in mind you'll need...
7500 miles in I love it. I think we’re averaging 24MPG but 20 when @ full pay load (not towing).
I’m prepared to pay for the additional maintenace but I do all of my own service And have already bought he first 3 oil changes worth of parts needed. Still need to order some rear-dif fluid.
I'm just selfishly hoping to find out how many of MY truck exist.
2021 Limited 6'4" EcoDiesel Night Edition w/ Tech & Safety package
I'd love to find out that there were like less than 500 of those built for 2021 MY so I can buy a "One of 500 Badge" for my glove box :P
This is not my first anti-detailing post but I did want to share that snake-oil is not limited to dealerships. Ceramic Coatings are insanely cheap to manufacture and you can buy them white-label. Detailing tools have some cost but anyone with $2500 can go into business as a detailer.
I'm...
Until Insurance gives me $150 a year off my premium for having Guardian, no thanks. SiriusXM's business of exploiting customer data is HUGE at this point. They take our location data and sell it and so they're making $250 a year off Guardian + $60 a year on radio and then making money off my...
I'm not tracking mine closely but I'm also at about 1000 miles per gallon. I think I've put 7-8 gallons in my tank and I'm at 7500 miles. 2000 of that was at full payload.
Yes, new bumper. Your bumper is steel and therefore hard to repair depending on how bad it was.
Here's my experience...total cost ended up being $4500 and about 28 days to get all parts in. Not, I had a hole in my multi-function tailgate as well. so that increased the cost by a bunch.
Good morning,
In this case, I’d try 3-4 places and you can really do it all w/o any credit pulls at all. Keep in mind the ‘posted rates’ on these sites are prime scores so generally 740+ score but what you can do is call up these banks and ask them what the APR is for your score. Most are...
