What did you do to your Ram today???
It doesn't have a V6, its an inline 6 which other than engine length are the some of the smoothest engines produced. No need for balance shafts and 40% fewer moving parts than their V6 cousins.- Scram1500

I've had it off at least times now between applying sound deadening and tracking down water intrusion -

It pops right off, but you need to remove the torx screw behind this little cover circled in blue -
steering wheel shake
Bad ball joint, could be in tie rod or control arm upper or lower. Couple posts here claim the lowers can go bad at 40k- Scram1500

Looking to Buy - 6 vs 8 cylinder?
It can't be more complicated than a V configuration with two heads. An inline 6 has 40% less moving parts than it's V6 counterpart, never mind a V8 with collapsible lifters.- Scram1500
