Hence my quandry!
The OEMs with 1" spacer is known, the Eibach unknown..but I want to know, so trying the Eibach seems reasonable..can always go back to OEM & spacer if wanted.👍
Also of interest, side by side, the 1"ORPs next to the 1" Eibachs..the ORPs are a good inch longer!!
This leads me to think the ORPs are softer spring rate than the Eibach!
Maybe that'd be good(?), but my OEM springs were plush, so??
Turns out the OEMs are Dual-rate also..I had forgotten. The ORP moreso than the Non-ORPs. The rear 1" ORPs that are conversion matched to my OEMs have tighter coils on the top..AND the top coils are thinner guage!! Crazy
Yes, the Eibach are also Dual-rate, same guage coul throughput, and Eibach...
Agreed..well, not quite finished yet😳
My thinking with the spacer is that when leveled, my suspension rides very slightly biased to the rear..and it's been super comfy.
I didn't want to change too much at once, knowing that something wouldn't go as planned and then I'd be chasing an unknown...
Yep..ALL on the ground!!
I told my wife that I'm getting to old and sore to not have a lift. Problem is I'd probably want to put up another garage to better fit that.
With my OEM wheels/tires, I ran the factory recommended 39psi all around..and that did seem spot on (I played around, but found...
Thanks much!
I might be getting this wrong, but are you running Eibach coils in back? If so, are they 1" or 1.5" lift? I believe Eibach just makes the 1" coils now..which I have, and I'm debating swapping them in instead of swapping in the 1" spacers for the 1.5" ones.
Strangely, I have a little...
Ok, so I got the Front and Rear Fox PEs installed along with the Thuren UCAs today.
Thankfully, I decided to install them "As Sent" from Fox, because I got my wish I guess (2.5"F)..I had planned on doing a +1"F/+1"R over what my Eibachs were (+1.5"F/+0"R) originally when I ordered the Fox PEs..I...
I have looked at PT's Quick Disconnects in the past..great idea and they look nicely done.
I'm all on-road though, so want the bar tight as possible so no point for me.
If off-roading a lot, they make a lot of sense.
Will be curious to hear how you like them if you get them.
Yep, I had that PT rear swaybar on my Larry for about a year.
I had it set on tight and it worked very well for me..no real complaints at all, other than that the PT bar doesn't have position locators like the OEM, Eibach, etc..although, I definitely couldn't tell or see any indication that the...
Finally got started on the Fox PEs and Thuren UCAs up front today. I decided to try them at Factory 3" in front.
Yesterday I setup the rear coils on 1.5" (since the rear was L-R leveled already and rode smooth). I do have a set of Eibach 1" coils that I may swap in with 1/2" spacers after trying...
Mine, may or may not have updated, last Friday just as I arrived at an Oktoberfest party out in the country.
I was just about to turn off the truck and an update message popped up, but then never seemed to update that I could tell.
The area that we were at had intermittent cell signal, so I...
Yep, I got hit doing 70 in a 55 on a back country road coming up a hill as a cop was cresting the other side..Instant On..said he KNEW I'd be speeding when he saw my Camaro, so went active..let me off though cause he liked my car's Stage 3+ cam!!
All radar, like radio waves, have a spreading pattern..it's tight, but not linear..so where the detector is mounted is gonna make minimal difference, imo.
We have a lowered ND Miata Club, a Durango SRT392, and a levelled Ram...very different "ride heights" for the V1G2s, yet all respond nearly...
I used a Blendmount for my V1G2 and mounted it high & tight without any extra links..also tapped the power into the mirror so no blockage at all..I Blendmount and use a power jumper on every vehicle I buy.
Also, download the JBV1 app for free..SUPER app!! Really well designed and extremely useful!!
