You wish the fob were smaller.... You're going to be carrying a phone anyway, aren't you? You could make the fob so small it is zero...
I am carrying the credit card key in my wallet now. May as well. It's so thin. And if I do lose my key, I can use the credit card.
So, it will be the same if...
The key fob is big. Why carry it when I am GOING to have my phone anyway and it can do the same job?
I have a separate keychain with 3 keys on it (house, work, mailbox), so it is small. I often leave it in the center console when I’m out and about.
It would be nice to be “out” and only have...
I suspect it’s a security thing.
You don’t want just anybody to be able to plop their phone into your charging cradle and turn it into a key to your truck when you’re not looking.
You have to login to the Ram app, and then it probably does something on the back end, talking to a Mopar server...
I track every fill-up in Fuelly (so, all hand-calculated).
I tracked 59,390 miles in my '21 EcoDiesel and averaged 21.5 over that. I had the GDE tune for most of that. I also had aftermarket 20" wheels with 33" tires for most of that, too.
In my '19 with a Hemi/eTorque, I tracked 71,704 miles...
Oh, and after seeing that message and having it immediately disappear on me, I basically disabled CarPlay. Then, once I put the phone in the wireless charger/NFC reader spot, then it displayed and stayed displayed so I could look at it and mess with it.
I've been getting that same notice. As soon as my Carplay connects, the Wallet message disappears, so I suspect others may be getting it but not seeing it. You really have to be watching your phone screen or it will flash up and then disappear without you ever seeing it.
I think it's a bit of a...
I haven't noticed any difference in ride quality. I have a little over 2K miles on it now. I have the stock 22" wheels and tires on it. I had 20" wheels with 33" AT tires on my '21.
It seems a little quieter in the cab. That could be just that the motor itself is quieter. I always thought my...
I did notice one other software glitch.
If I start my truck up and drive at night, the brightness of the dash is at "daytime" level. If just roll the brightness wheel down and then back up to max (but not past the "click"), then the dash brightness drops to what it should be for a "max" level...
Yeah.... it DOES have 395 HP at its peak.
That is not the issue. The issue is that it is gutless in the midrange. Tooling along at any normal road/highway speed and the motor will be turning probably 1600-2100 RPMs or so, depending. Start up any kind of even slight grade. The Hemi will have to...
I say this all the time: If you post fuel economy #s and you don't specify whether it was hand calculated or from the dash display, you may as well save yourself the typing.
The dash #s are a joke. The only fuel economy #s that can provide a basis for discussion are if you hand calculate.
I...
My collision braking definitely works on my '25. I sometimes follow a bit *ahem* too closely and it has gone off for me a few times....
The only real glitch I've noticed so far (only had my truck for 3 weeks) is that the proximity wake-up does not work. It is supposed to turn on "greeting...
Well then, be sorry for LOTS of people's bad luck. Besides all mine, my brother now has a '20 1500 w/Hemi. He's already had the leak once and his truck is still well under 100K miles.
It doesn't take much research to know that LOADS of people have had the Hemi exhaust leak.
You can rely on a...
It's not a rule. It's just application of brain cells that led everyone else to understand what was happening.
My post didn't address you in any way and my question made no sense as a response to you - because it wasn't directed to you. You seemed to realize that when you started with "I'm not...
https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/maxcare-zeigler-is-cheaper-than-granger.66896/
Also, I think there are some benefits with MaxCare that are not included in the factory warranty. Rental car? Anyway, those you are getting 5yr/100....
And the engine is 5yr/60 from the factory, so I'm only...
I've been using one of these ever since I got my first truck with Ramboxes (in 2019).
It's the perfect width. Just have to trim a few inches off the length, which is very easy. Or, you CAN leave it long and let the extra overhang the gap to the tailgate, or just fold up at the front of the bed...
