Orrrr.... did "they" say that because "they" didn't want to do it at all? But, the boss overruled them and said "make it happen" and then it miraculously didn't take that long?
Doesn't a stock SST HO make more torque at every RPM than a stock 5.7 Hemi?
If so, that seems like a 100%...
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere or saw a video clip where they specifically mentioned having to change the Hemi (meaning, the electronics, not the actual engine) to work with the new bus architecture.
Yes, the boards should extend. I think the lights come on, but I can't really tell when it's daylight out.
And that is assuming you have all 3 things in the Settings (in Uconnect/Vehicle) set correctly (as described in the Owner's Manual and posted earlier in this thread, I think).
Actually...
Actually, all the RAM 1500 Hemis ARE created equal. Well, except maybe the TRX motor.
That is nothing like how it was created.
Do you think it's making more power than an SST HO with a Burger JB4 tuner? From what I've read the JB4 will add 100 HP to the HO, taking it to around 640...
I bought a new one of the "recycled rubber" door mats that I linked previously ($40 at Home depot). I put the old one from my previous truck in and then the new one on top. They are the exact perfect width to fit the bed with Ramboxes. I just trimmed about 5" off the end with a utility knife...
Isn't your bedrug going to rub the paint - at least, in spots - and dull the finish over time?
I would just go ahead and get Line-X done. They will sand down all the paint in there first, as part of the process. Then the interior of the bed will be totally protected and whether it's a run or a...
One last question.
I am just GUESSING that the PWU works in such a way as to prevent activating it immediately when you lock the truck and walk away. I.e. if you lock it by pressing the button on the door and start to walk away, you are still close to the truck. But, in that case, you wouldn't...
I cannot turn my HUD off and have it stay off.
I’ve tried turning it off and then even holding down the Memory 1 and Memory 2 buttons to save my profile.
It doesn’t seem to matter what I do. When I start the truck, the HUD comes on.
Any thoughts on how to turn it off permanently?
I do, too, sometimes. Do I really care? No, not really. I get where I'm going 5 seconds later? Meh. And it only happens when I'm not paying attention, so....
I don't like it when an idiot pops over in front of me. But, I actually pay attention to the traffic around me when I'm driving (usually lol!) so when that happens, I just put my foot on the gas to maintain my speed, or slow down more gently, as appropriate.
I don't understand so many people...
That's not what I got.
What I got is that he doesn't like that it slows down before it runs over the person in front of him. I.e. it is working like it's supposed to. He just doesn't like the way ACC works. He doesn't want to have to pay attention and put his foot on the gas occasionally to...
I finally remembered to test mine this past weekend. My '25 Limited does have the 2 buttons. But, the one I *thought* was regular CC is not. The right button is on/off for ACC with the ADAS. The left button is on/off for ACC with no ADAS.
So, I do not have regular CC at all and no way I can see...
I went out to my truck yesterday afternoon and PWU did not activate.
It then worked the rest of the day. No idea what's up with that at this point.
But, @StuartsFriend, regarding your point, I forgot to verify last night, but I *think* the interior lights don't come on from PWU anyway. I think...
Of course, if both batteries are not isolated from each other, then I would expect them to show the same voltage, even if one is good and the other is "bad".
*sigh*
Regardless, PWU didn't work and then 1 minute later it did.
Flaky.
PWU is ... flaky.
My truck has been parked for over 2 hours.
I just went out and walked right up to the driver's door. No PWU. I popped the hood and checked both batteries with a voltmeter. Both showed around 12.6V.
Closed the truck back up and walked to my garage (about 100 yards) and back...
Never drive through any state thinking that you only have to follow "Federal law". You are always subject to all the laws of the state you're in.
If you get arrested in NJ for not following NJ state laws, that's on you. Either that or be prepared to appeal your case all the way to the Supreme...
It SEEMS as though my PWU (proximity wake up) is not working again. I just came out from eating lunch and it did not activate. I have now put my voltmeter in my driver's seat to remind me.
Maybe it didn't activate because of something simple like I didn't get far enough away from the truck...
To connect your truck to your hotspot, IIRC, you go into System Updates (or Software Updates?). Somewhere in there you can connect to whatever wireless access point you want and enter the password for the access point.
That will then allow your Uconnect to download software updates via WiFi...
