Sorry I just saw this but yeah that's what I did. I can't remember if I cleared the CEL myself or if it went away. I think I may have cleared it myself with the T2. It may go away though once it does it's first check/cycle.
I am still CEL free. I left the middle and the very bottom one on. I've tried a couple different combinations and those triggered the CEL. This combo seems to keep the system happy.
I never minded the rotary shifter, but I do miss the console shifter my '12 had. So much more fun to shift with even if it was just a gear limiter. I'd take the paddle shifters any day.

My Rebel has some play/clunking when I shift from park to drive or reverse. It does the same at low speeds. I don't know that it's normal, I can't imagine it is. Here are a couple videos of what's happening for me.

I just went through the ridiculous procedure and ended up draining a little over half a quart myself. I'll see how it shifts the next few days. I'll probably check it again tomorrow.
Good luck with the new truck, I didn't notice my truck shifting weird at first either. That happened later...
I did that on my '12 when I installed the TB, I learned my lesson there and just tighten it until it doesn't turn with minimal force.

It's clamped on so it's easy to remove, but I'd need a pipe to clamp on in it's place. Now that I think about it, that might not be a bad idea [emoji848][emoji848]

I absolutely love the S-Type, I have the resonator installed as well and sometimes think about removing it. Even with the resonator it's loud is the best sounding exhaust I've heard on the 5th gen.

I'm at just over 20K and it's still a thing. It's a quirk of the transmission. I've tried several of the TSB PCM/TCM flashes with no permanent fix. Some days it's perfectly fine, some it's jerky.

I appreciate it, as long as they're functional as a step and not just for show that's the route I'll go. I think they go well with the Rebel.

Moe's is legit, they're in Texas. I know they were recovering from weather not long ago which may or may not be the reason. Matt (owner) is a good guy but as mentioned Moe's is a small business and it's pretty popular on other forums. Matt also owns one of the fastest 4th gens out there.
