Like you fastblackram, I have a 23 RAM and 23 Grand Cherokee in the driveway, spare keys in the mud room, hanging, and never had an issue. I think… longest I let my truck sit in the driveway was a week while we took her GC to KY and TN for vacation, but zero issues when we got back.
I believe that the MGU is covered under federal emissions warranty for 8/80. Powertrain is not 8/80.
Your 2021 should have a 3/36 bumper to bumper, 5/60 powertrain, 8/80 federal emissions.
If your dealer was calling the 8/80 powertrain…may be time to re-educate them.
I too purchased the Max...
tried that. Cleaned out the K&N filter, put a little air freshener in it.. still there.
It was the first thing I tried. I haven’t checked my drains…need to do so.
Appreciate Jtr’s idea.
Yep, that’s what the post #4 was talking about.
21K miles, new in Aug 2023, no battery issues.
I’ve left mine in cold weather airport parking for 7 days…no issues.
In my driveway in cold/snowy temps, 3-4 days, no issues.
I have a Jeep Wrangler I drive when it’s snowy and icy…or, it’s sunny and...
I don’t mean to sound like a jerk, so please, no offense.
I thought about air in the system as well.
But anyone that can replace a radiator AND a water pump, I would think…knows how to burp out the system.
Anything could happen, it was my first thought as well…
Just a crazy guess…but since you drove through that much water, is there any chance… that either the cooling fan either got disconnected OR the cooling fan motor shorted out?
Or..by replacing the radiator, it wasn’t hooked back up correctly?
Interesting… I found this thread by chance.
Cat urine is exactly I smelled. Cleaned my K&N Cabin filter, it was a little dusty, but not horrible.
I even sprayed a little new car smell air freshener on it.
I still catch a whiff of it now and then. No cats, nothing nested underneath, nothing...
If you get the “right” extended warranty, in my case, second truck with Max Care, there’s really no fighting.
What the warranty can’t help you with is time. If a part is out of stock, back order, etc….
What it can help with is unexpected repairs…
Your money, your preference… I get it.
With...
Coming from 3 previous Hemi trucks, non e torque (2006, 08, 2015) I can notice the differences:
S/S obviously, not in the previous 3 trucks
Very, Very smooth shifting while accelerating.
Regenerative braking is very noticeable…and my gut tells me my brakes will last longer as a result, I simply...
In Michigan, here’s our lemon law requirements.
Does it meet these:
Question: What if the problem I reported continues to be an issue?
Answer: If the problem continues after a reasonable number of repair attempts, you may be entitled to a refund. The refund would be for the purchase or lease...
Correct.
Your vehicle must meet certain criteria in order for S/S to be ready.
This is not a comprehensive list, but I know Engine/fluid temps AND cabin temp need to be up to par for it to enable S/S.
Via the first start with push button, or remote start if you have it, the primary 12V starter...
Yep, I covered that too. I said it only is used for S/S once it meets certain criteria..
I literally posted this:
The Generator is only active for S/S once the criteria is met.
Look, I’m not trying to be a clown..
But you realize, in the very post you quoted me, I called it a generator…not once, not twice, but 3 times…
I’m not the OP, therefore I didn’t create the headline for the post.. I know it’s not an alternator.
The fact you quoted me calling it a generator…and...
Are you 1000% positive there was enough snow to help the front tires slip?
I’ve used mine (2023) in 4WD high to park in 90 degree parking spots when lots were full of snow and no jerking.
Follow the manual and document.
There are plenty of other threads here about changing the transmission fluid….
Here’s my take.
If you’re going to sell it/trade it in after 125K, don’t bother changing the fluid…unless you specifically meet the owner’s manual requirements for towing.
In short, RAM...
