Can you share a photo of your bulb setup or light shining in the front at night. I am considering this even though it's Illegal in my state. Did you do low and high beams?
Agreed with all of you. After crawling around under it the other day, those skid plates are real nice, on top of the tires and locker. I test drove with and without and noticed no real difference in ride. Your garage door needs to make the decision. Do not forget the Fixed antenna on the roof.
I know, low taxes, cheap gas, jobs, warm weather, good looking (never mind), there’s a lot to like about TX and keep rubbing it in. Been there a few times and if I ever leave New England, it’s one of the States on my list. I have spent a week in Dallas for work and same at TCH with a 6...
Darnit, I did not coat my Oil Pan with Undercoating last weekend. I guess I will now. Brine is not our friend for sure. It will take a long time for that to rust through though. You could just sand a little and use rustoleum as well but where the plug rubs, it will lever stay. The area around...
The dealer can look up all FCA service and warranty history. Insist on seeing it. If good, I would have little to worry about. Your warranties will still be in force. 3/36 and 5/60.
Yup. You can buy cans and do it as suggested. It’s about $10-12 per can and the wand is $15.00. You need about 1/2 gallon to do just about everything needed With a compressor and gun. Cans are an ok way to get it done It just may take a little more time.
I have found there are places that...
I used my Fluid film gun/kit I bought in 2013 for my Leased Ram Express along with the cavity wand. It worked great. I warmed the NH oil to a little warmer than room temp (can soaked in hot water) before spraying. At room temp it was almost jelly like. When we finished it was 41 degrees...
I spent an hour undercoating the new Ram with NHOil Back to Black. Pretty easy to use stuff. So far not a lick of rust except where the Vin was etched. Every hole underneath was sprayed, cab supports, cab channels, inside each rocker (love the easy rubber plugs), interior and exterior of...
Thanks for all the replies. Next time will be the “dual bag” method for sure. The single bag certainly does not work for the oil that comes out after the filter removal. My supple Left arm skin is a testament to that. The easy to wrench off properly installed filter should make things much...
If it were me, I would still consider follow through with the letter ASAP if you do not have faith in RAM. 7 business days is a short time and who knows what may slow down the engine install process next week. If you do not, it all resets again..... But it is your call and if you like your...
Very cool. If FCA offered this as a kit, I would do it in a heartbeat. My only concern would be arguing this with the dealer/FCA if I had an internal engine issue. This is truly modifying the design of the oil filter system (granted I know it's just a line extension, and I know as an Engineer...
I ordered these last night, some insurance just in case the "nut" on the K & N fails..... I am also working with my Mechanical Engineer son (who has the Warlock) to 3d Print a combo wrench/oil catch device (with maybe a drain hose/valve) custom for the filter removal. I will let you know the...
