    Drama at the Ram Dealer.

I would walk out and not look back. You hold the all the cards right now and they act like their doing you a favor. The other side of that is you don't get to grind away either, it's called mutual respect. What's it going to be when the truck needs service work, and they all do, some more...

    Trying to Decide...

Get the RAM, definitely the RAM! The comfort in the cab just blows any other truck in todays market out of the water in my opinion. Having had a V6 in a full size truck I much prefer the V8's hands down. It's what makes you happy in the end that is most important. If you decide on the Ford...

    MDS question

I am thinking the same as PowerJrod. The software that controls your shift points in the transmission may be corrupted since the original programming. Update/remap it may smooth it out for you.

    MDS question

I wouldn't call it a workaround to my way of thinking. I call it working within the design parameters of the way the truck was originally designed to operate. This is the most complicated truck I have ever owned. I don't pretend to know the finer points of how it works. I just want it to...

    MDS question

Put your right foot back into it a little bit more. Not excessively. You bought a truck not a fuel sipper. The truck has adjusted to a lighter driving style and is choking a little.

Pictures of mud guards/flaps on your 2020 Ram (Silver would be a bonus)

I went the Gatorback route. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again despite the expense. Redevil showed you what they look like on the truck. They are weighted on the bottom to stay put at highway speeds. They use existing mounts in the wheel wells with some side to side adjustability. If...

    substance on coolant Check Stick

I went thru this earlier this summer. This is the way it was explained to me at the dealership. The 19 Hemi's and beyond use a 10yr/150,000 mile antifreeze. Mopar part # 68163849AB The previous years used a 5 yr/100,000 mile antifreeze Mopar part # 68051212AC The auto stores I visit knew...

    Idle Shake.?

Has it just now started to behave like this? What kind of shape is your air breather in? Mine did same thing for a short while. I put in about half a tank of 93 octane gas and it cleared up shortly within that same tank. I've always ran 89 in it as per owner's manual. Since then I changed...

Question for north east winter drivers

IF you add weight in the bed, put it in front of the rear axel in the front of the bed. MOST of the added weight will end up on the back axel and not lighten up the front axel. Granted the engine mass is carried on the front axel, but you don't want to harm any of your steering ability.

how bad does the 3.92 gearing affect MPG?

Not mentioned yet is I have found less downshifting on the highway to maintain cruising speed with my 3.92. Along with that in town you will notice the MDO stays on a little more. Real world mileage is a tough one to anticipate. Some here get above 20 mpg highway with a 3.92. I never have...

Dash is dead, truck won't start

Check all the battery grounds under the hood, there are 5 of them. That is the simplest first step fix. Next is off to the dealer

Should I get the Diesel out of my head?

Not to highjack this discussion, but here is my question. For those of you, who park your diesel's in an attached garage to your houses, do you have any exhaust smell in the house? The DEF tanks have cleaned the exhaust up considerably. Is it enough to stay out of trouble in an attached garage?

    Agonizing decision, need help

Alright, the hardest part is over. Just pile the stuff in the back UP a little higher. Enjoy the ride.

    Agonizing decision, need help

How many miles do you pull your trailer in a year? The extra costs of maintaining the eco diesel will eat up any fuel savings. Add in another additional $1800 worth of payments per year. Do you park your ecodiesel in an attached garage to your house? Cold diesels are nasty smelly in the dead...

Goodyear Wrangler A/T Adventure w/ Kevlar, reviews?

Condor 757 To answer your question. I purchased a set (20") for my last truck, an 09 Silverado. I ran them for 30,000+ miles and didn't have any problems with them. At 30,000+ still going strong.I always got a flat or two each year from an alley I was stuck with. The kevlar stopped that...

    P rated vs LT rated.

Depends on how far and how heavy you tow and the heavy haul loads take you. In hot summers the road bed will be hotter than the air temp. If you don't go very far then the lighter tires make sense in what you are trying to accomplish. I haven't seen many out and out blow outs, but I have seen...

Rear Underseat Storage - Pics PLEASE!

Your first post is impressive. Looking forward to your second post. Several of us have fabricated our own enclosure. I made mine out of some plywood drop, black spray paint and a couple of brackets. Does everything I wanted it to do. Plus it was fun messing around in the shop on something not...

    Front Plastic Trim Spot Issue

That looks like the liquid wax that can be applied during the wash cycles. Do you get the “deluxe” wash when you go through. Meguiars makes a viynl trim cleaner that I use to clean up my trim when I got their tech 2 wax in it. I’ve always been impressed with their products.

    Ventilated seats shutting off

Are the vents in the seat cushions clear, not full of dirt? If they are blocked maybe the blower motor in the seat hits the thermal overload. Does the passenger seat act like this? Just a couple of ideas to help you troubleshoot.

Mud guards/ Mud flaps - Non molded options?

You may want to take a look at a set of Gatorback mud flaps. Very similar design features. That's what I bought, and would do it all over again without hesitation.
