    Air Compressor recommendation

In a few days at home air your tires down to where you are going to be and then see if there is enough volume and pressure in the tank to charge all 4 tires to street PSI. You might want to consider one of these. They are pretty impressive for what they are, don't take up much space, and not a...

    Air Compressor recommendation

I would suggest you charge the tank and see how long, and how much of a charge it will hold. That will tell you if you can trust it or NOT.

Ram Trucks Reduces The Complexity Of Its 2022 Ram 1500 Lineup!

Why not produce a truck with a single cab, 98 inch bed with the tailgate shut in the upper trim levels? I for one would be all over that truck.

    A bit of a balance problem !

Anyway you slice or dice it, one of those three in the picture is going to be responsible for the idiot tax that will have to be paid on that bone headed move. What a shame, it was a nice truck.

    Cleaning vented seats

How about using a very small twist drill that will fit the holes in the seat. Twist it with your fingers. That way the flutes in the drill bit may be able to pull the gunk up out of the hole. A tooth pick may may just drive it deeper in the hole.

To floor it or not to floor it (yeah this is about MPG)

Just drive it, be reasonable. 7100 lbs of momentum does not stop as easily as a lighter weight vehicle. For whatever the reason when you rear end the vehicle directly ahead of you, your it. Cop doesn't care one wit what your reasoning was. People do all kinds of stupid stuff in traffic...

Josh Edgar Designs - 2020 RAM 1500 build and adventures

Watching your transformation/evolution of your truck in this thread was fun. Where did you learn your craft? It is impressive! Well done and done right.

How do I adjust my tmps settings..

I don't know that you can. My experience is the TPMS are set to warn when the tire pressure goes below a preset factory level. I personally despise TPMS.

How much weight can closed tailgate support?

Eventually the weight will knock the tailgate latches out of adjustment if you load heavy and often. It will force you to slam the tailgate harder and harder as time goes on. Worst case is the latches fail and turn your pick up into a dump truck. A couple sheets of plywood, sheet goods at a...

The biggest mistake leaving a dirty diaper overnight.

Janitorial supply places will have some more powerful stuff to use if still not getting where you want to be. Restoration companies like ServPro can steer you in the right direction if you have access to them or one like them in your area. Definitely change the cabin filter as mentioned above...

The biggest mistake leaving a dirty diaper overnight.

Put a couple of open containers of baking soda in the back on the floor overnight when you park it. It will help absorb the smell, then get rid of the baking soda each night.

    Good Times

A good body shop will clean it up for you. Paint matching technology these days is remarkable. Your year old truck won't have too much sun damage by the sounds of it. Hopefully Burger King will have better luck with the operator learning a new career. Sorry to hear of your mishap. None of...

What the Heck is this Stain???

Some places treat gravel roads with "tree sap" to keep the dust down. That is what it looks like to me from my past experience with the gunk.

Just got back from dealer for first oil change and alignment check. Opinions?

SD Rebel GENIUS walking around! Never thought of that! I like it. Pretty easy on this truck honestly, leave the oil cap on tight during the initial drain, and the oil doesn't splash much on the sway bar.

    How heavy is too heavy.

The load limit will be about 1/3 of the way down from the top. Not all the limits will be the same. Variance is because of the difference in models and how they are equipped. My quad is load rated not to exceed 771KG of 1701 lbs. Yours will be a little lighter because it is a Limited, crew...

    How heavy is too heavy.

To the OP, respectfully By now you have learned more than you bargained for. I spent a couple of summers working in a cement batch plant in my college days. Handled a lot of material with an end loader. For your reference, 1 yard of sand weighs around 3000lbs, gravel 2700lbs, black dirt...

Towing with a Car Hauler loaded with Jeep JK

Can you find a lighter trailer to haul the jeep on? You are at the upper max for what you can do with a 1500. I would scale it out before you start back to make sure you are not over limits. Being overloaded is not a place you want to be. What about having the jeep shipped to you by a car...

    A/T tires

Cooper Discoverer AT3 4s gets high marks. You may want to consider the physical weight of the tire. Michelin defenders are another choice if you do not go off road much, they won't handle mud as well as an AT tire. I'm in the same quandary as you.

    An honest talk about Overlanding

I've been having fun following along with this thread. I live in the midwest and have ridden both coasts several times as well as along the Gulf shores all on Harley's. I don't ride like you do anymore, I know better, my ole body would just raise all kinds of hell with me. Crossed Death...
