How to Get the Best Price on Your New Ram

I waited until the month my truck was to arrive before I called. Many incentives end or begin at the start of the month.

Declined the extended warranty dealer pitch

These four were all very low. Zeigler Clay Robbins Tom Winkels Riedman Motors I was surprised Jason was not in their range. He said he could not match, much less beat, their prices. He may have raised his prices or it could have just been an anomaly related to my specific purchase.

    Price negotiated from MSRP

I missed that you took the 0% financing. You would qualify for all $4750 in incentives unless you took the 0%. Keep in mind that the dealer is including those incentives in their price and using 0% would raise the price they are charging. If your dealer gave you a 5%-8% discount (before...

    Price negotiated from MSRP

We are not talking incentives/rebates that you need to qualify for. Just the discount the dealer is offering. A 15.81% Big Horn discount is not terrible but the dealer should be offering more. As you can see the factory is offering a discount of $4750 even if you don't finance with Chrysler...

How to Get the Best Price on Your New Ram

Most, but not all, emailed certificates are not stackable with another. You can always call FCA Incentives and go through your available discounts when you have all the codes. The number is on the first page of this thread. I was on the phone with them going through my discounts the other day.

If you sign up on the website they are still sending out certificates. I received one for a $1000 for the President's Day sale.

Tread Lightly works with most other rebates. It is not a certificate. Most, but not all, emailed certificates are not stackable with another.

That example is a 15.81% discount from MSRP. People are getting Big Horns with discounts in the 20% and up range because of the larger factory incentives right now. It would be a decent percentage discount if it were a Laramie or Limited.

    Price negotiated from MSRP

If this is exactly what you want, and you don't want to wait on a factory order, I would buy. That being said with the larger incentives being offered on Big Horns some people are getting discounts of 20% or more right now. That means the dealer is not giving you a very large discount. Keep in...

    Price negotiated from MSRP

I would ask dealer 1 to beat dealer 2, not match. It doesn’t hurt if salespeople know they’re competing against each other for your business. show the dealerships the lowest quote and ask if they can beat it.

All very good points but as far as I can tell "Employee Pricing for Everyone" ended over a month ago. I am sure it will be back though.

How to Get the Best Price on Your New Ram

This is a good point. If you are looking to save thousands more dollars on a new truck you need to have some patience. The salesmen want to get you exited and break you down so you will just accept their numbers. You should have researched what you want and pricing before you even enter the...

    Any regrets not getting 4x4

Salesmen will often try and talk you into four wheel drive because of the resale value. The truck will be worth more when you sell it but never equal to the extra you paid. Maybe if you sold it in a few years but probably not. I had a 1999 Ford F-150 4x2 for 10 years. Only two times did I need...

Employee Pricing (EP) is 5% below invoice plus $200 before incentives/rebates. This is a good discount but is the minimum I would settle for.
