Because I read the posts on this forum, I hear noise coming from the rear of my cab now. I didn't notice it before, and most people who ride with me make a comment at some point about high quiet the truck is.
:cautious:
For the record (and having had it fixed under warranty), it's the grille and everything else that needs adjustment, not the bumper. I know it looked that way to me too.
I'm looking at having this muffler installed and weep holes welded, but I'm a little worried it may be too loud. I only want a shade more hemi sound, not something to make the wife start complaining.
Should I be looking more at an 18" MF, instead of this 14"?
That looks like a great deal and a very nice truck.
I don't have the e-torque, but I have a 3 mile commute every day, which kills my gas mileage, and I'm still getting 17 mpg average after 2,500 miles. I absolutely love driving this truck too.
I really like this forum -- and there are a lot...
Did you ever get it put back together to your satisfaction? I spoke to the body man at my dealership and he said he could fix the gaps by pulling the grill out some and adjusting the beaver cheeks too. Supposed to drop it off tomorrow for these tweaks; he acted like it wasn't a big job.
I remember riding my harley to the gas station once and after filling the tank realizing that I left the key fob at home. Had to call my wife and ask her to bring me the fob so I could start up and get back on the road.
Most vehicle lingo uses the truck positions when you are in the driver's seat. Left side, right side, etc. Rearward would refer to toward the rear of the truck. My 2¢.
