Sorry you took my question as sarcasm. I wasn't being sarcastic. I was asking if you were aware of the TSB and if so, is there some reason you believe it to be an ineffective remedy?
Are you implying that the TSB issued for the A/C system isn't effective?
This is why I chose not to bother with the sunroof in FL. I didn't want the truck to be any more of a greenhouse than it already is and I didn't see the point in having the roof glass if the shade is closed the majority...
I've just Googled the part numbers and searched for the best deal. So far, I've ordered mostly from various sellers on eBay.
For the Sport hood bezel, I ordered an overlay decal. If I end up not liking how it looks, I'll just order the bezel.
I assume it's 82215321AD because this site indicates 82215321AD supersedes "AB" & "AC" and this post indicates that "AA," "AB" & "AC" are the affected part numbers.
Continued the dechroming. Removed the chrome tailgate RAM emblem and replaced it with black. Don't be a dumbass like me. I marred the paint ever so slightly (chipped/scratched?) having a false sense of security using plastic interior trim removal pry tools. In retrospect, I should have...
The part arrived. It's either a legit Mopar part or someone is doing a very good job of creating fake Mopar parts and labels.
I don't understand how this eBay seller is selling these for roughly half of what other eBay sellers or the local/online dealership parts department charge but...
I'm having a set of 285/45/22 Continental TerrainContact AT's mounted. Obviously haven't driven on them yet but they will be 98% on road.
Good ratings online. We shall see.
I dropped off the 22" Sport wheels yesterday to be stripped and powder coated.
The practical side of me was leaning toward gloss black but I stayed the course and told them to do satin black.
I'm sure the answer is a Google away but how buried is the BCM? I'm surprised you were able to remove it without much hassle?
Or am I assuming it was without much hassle?
It wasn't very difficult. I used a razor blade to carefully lift a corner of each letter away from the backing just enough to insert various plastic trim pry tools behind each letter and worked them a bit at a time until the letters came free. I wasn't ham-handed but I didn't care about...
Maybe there's a setting to display the backup camera in the rear view I haven't yet discovered . I haven't yet dived that deep. As it is, the digital rear view stays displayed until/unless I manually select it "off."
The backup camera displays on the 8.4" screen.
