Had XPEL applied to the front bumper, grille surround, headlights, under headlights, applique and back of sideview mirrors. About $1100, before tax.
It's absolutely maddening how many paint blemishes the front of this truck has suffered, on non-sanded/salted Florida roads, in 1700 short miles...
I have the 33 gallon tank. I just refueled with 38 miles of range showing on the cluster. At approximately 15 mpg, that would be roughly 2.5 gallons remaining.
Twenty eight gallons filled the tank. So there's definitely some kind of buffer in there.
As an aside, it looks like this might be the same type of pigtail but available in multiple lengths, from a US seller?
Lots of stuff in their eBay store.
Thanks. I saw you post and referenced it earlier in this thread.
I ordered the bracket but didn't use it.
FYI, if you click a post number, you can copy the URL and link directly to the post.
Picture stolen from another thread; Has anyone attempted to separate the assembled grille pieces? Is it possible to do so without damage? I'm assuming it's held together with lots of interlocking plastic clips and tabs?
I'm considering buying the surround (second from top) and having it...
If you're suffering some kind of personal embarrassment from the this thread, you can save yourself future anguish by first referencing the book of answers that came with your truck.
Thanks again. I can always redo the rear cable routing. I'll leave as is for a bit and see if any good reason to reposition the camera presents itself.
There's lots of minutia in the app settings. I'll have to do some reading. This is my first dash cam so of lot of the settings are a bit...
I Installed the BlackVue DR900X-2CH today. I ended up not using the bracket from TheDashCam Store. I removed the door sill plates and much of the surrounding trim to cleanly route and conceal the cable running to the rear camera. But as I feared, routing the cable down the pax A-pillar, under...
I just ordered the 2" Custom Folded Bracket For Secondary Dashcam from the The DashCam Store, to allow the rear camera to be centered.
So I guess I'll wait a few more days before tackling this project :)
Thanks. I have fiberglass pull rods. No pano roof in my truck.
I hadn't considered that's it's possible to route the cable to the rear camera in that manner. I'll have to to some exploring.
Thanks very much. And for the rear camera? As I posted a few posts up, I'd like to run the cable down the pax A-pillar, along the floor/sill and then back up to the headliner.
Have you guys remove the sill plates or any additional trim? Or just tucked it all in with your fingers?
Thanks for the reply. I have plenty of plastic trim tools and I'm not fearing removing the A-pillars (though I appreciate the explanation).
I'm just wondering if any trim other than the A-Pillar needs to be removed in order to conceal the cables? It sounds like you guys are just tucking the...
Thanks, but for that and other reasons, I'd prefer to follow the routing I quoted (down the passenger A-pillar and along the passengers side floor/sill).
My head is starting to spin with all of these long threads. I'd like to install my front and rear Blackvue cameras in the next day or two. With regard to routing and concealing the cables, other than the A-pillar covers which obviously must be removed, are you guys removing any trim in order...
