I had the same issue, I have a thread about it here somewhere. Turned out to be a cheap analog controller was the culprit. It was not working properly either. I ended up buying a tekonsha digital, installed that and it resolved all the issues. Night and day difference in brake engagement too...
Change your oil to some high quality full synthetic, and put some good 89 minimum octane in the fuel tank and the mileage will go up considerably in my experiences.
The xlt was like 150 more PER TIRE! And they werent in stock at the shop I went to. The xlt would be nice but they dont ride as nice as the 4s and are louder. I tow a handful of times a year, if I were towing everyday I probably would have got the xlt.
Had the front end up on ramps doing an oil change so figured I would install the lamin-x too. Slightly overcut, used some water mist and they installed pretty easy with no bubbles. Will try some pics and report back once I can try them in the dark lit up. Like the day look though.
This is an interesting thread, I own 2 fca vehicles (ram and jeep g.c.) both with the 8.4 nav and both have been pretty stable. The backup cam went out once in the jeep but it seemed to be a fluke as it never happened again. One thing ive noticed in this threat is only a few people are including...
Ill get a good side shot for you guys. Ride is really good and improved over the smaller tires. Noise level is about the same as the factory tires (nexen) which was surprising. Handling and braking feel much better, snow grip is excellent. Speedo is a few mph off at 70 and mpg seems about the...
I have the LED lighting package which is very nice but every thing is very cool white. Ive always prefered yellow (3000k) fog lights, they work better for my eyes and I like the way it looks on the truck with white headlights and yellow fogs. Does anyone know of a conversion kit or have done...
Got the new sensors installed, and TPMS started working correctly within 10 miles. All good, I can confirm mopar 68293199AA works good. Paid 100 for the set.
1" bigger than stock. 4th gen came with this size stock and the 5th gen stock 275/55-20 always looked too small to me. All stock, no rubbing anywhere even loaded up and full lock on the steering.
I had my tire guy scan the tpms sensors and he said they were outputting nothing, dead basically. So I ordered a new set of mopar part number 68293199AA sensors which should work. Going to have the tire shop swap them out and going to have them return the old ones to me so I can see if there is...
Thanks for the replies. 50 miles home and 1 was still on 3off. I removed the spare and hard reset the truck (positive batt cable removed for 20 minutes) and same thing. Seems to idle smoother and run better after the reset too. Maybe ive got some damaged sensors. Going to get try a few more...
Having the same issue, swapped out my wheel and tires for a different style but 19 oem wheels with 19 oem tpms sensors. Seemed fine yesterday driving about 10 miles. All showed 35psi. Today drove another 10 and the entire system went offline. Drove 50 miles to a job and still none showed up. Did...
I tested it today, when off and locked with the keyfob it disables the homelink and also disables the unlock button on the doors. Thanks for the insight guys!
