Another vote for OEM here, just did the install last week for a friend of mine after hearing about one of is buddies who is also on his third set of Morimotos.

For $375 a local guy did a full catback with a flowmaster (sorry forget which one) and it sounds just as good (to me) as the borla that I was thinking about getting :D

For the hair, grab yourself a medium length furminator if you don't already have one. Or you can use a cheaper option like this (works pretty well) shedding brush

Long ago I had this issue, took all the files out of folders and turned repeat off. Haven't had it pop up in almost two years now.
