lol, no I don’t need one. But since you bought TRX wheels and had a driveshaft that looks similar to the aftermarket one I put on my TRX recently, I was just wondering.
Nice.
But to be honest, the guy doesn't know what he's talking about. First, there are no "Last Call Editions", they're called "Final Editions". There were 4,380 Final Editions made. Of those:
1,358 had the standard TRX wheels
3,022 had the bead-locks that I pictured above (which are...
You should take a clear picture of them in good light. The more I stare at the pictures from the garage, the more I think you actually have the black beadlocks (from the Lunar and Havoc Editions).
Yeah, that's a great price - even without tires. But if you got tires with good life left in them as part of the deal, then it's a steal. Which probably means they were stolen.
Although having said that, are you sure those are Final Edition wheels? The Final Editions are more of a patina color. Your wheels look like the regular ones with paint-to-match beauty rings. Or maybe it's just the lighting in the picture.
I think the Final Edition TRX beadlocks are the best-looking ones (unless you're going for the blacked out look). Wish mine had that set. I have the regular ones, and the beauty ring is just a bit too bright for my tastes.
Can't really say what they're worth if you were looking to sell them...
Just chiming in to make sure it's the pano sunroof that's rattling (and not the rear slider). Do you typically open the rear slider at the same time? There's a known rattling issue on that when open.
The extended powertrain warranty only applies to the original buyer (it's a special program), so it's understandable that the window sticker wouldn't list it as a feature.
There are actually rumors that they're going to do that. They pulled the Ramcharger name from the range-extended EV, and all bets are on them using it for the upcoming SUV.
That's not the tire on @Trx702JT 's truck. I have the Goodyear Wranglers on my TRX, and those look different. If you look closely, the Wranglers have treads that are perpendicular to the sidewalls. The tires in the picture have angled treads.
Then you have a 2025 Limited. The actual date of import (or the build date) doesn’t matter. Does your VIN look like this?
1C6SRFHPxSNxxxxxx
Ignore the x’s. The P signifies the 3.0L Hurricane engine. And the SN signifies model year 2025.
And what kind of truck do you have? You say a 2024 Limited with 3.0L engine. But there was no Hurricane that year, and there was no EcoDiesel that year.
The regular Tyrant package was an $8k add-on. I don't know how much you paid for your TRX, but if yours was priced at (or near) the KBB value based on the window sticker, then you got a pretty good deal.
There was a 37" tire/wheel upgrade (for $7k more), but from the pictures it looks like you...
