Hypothetical scenarios. What would you do?

I prefer not to purchase used and buy another person's problems. :D Granted new vehicles have issues too, but the odds are less and you at least still have coverage.

Hypothetical scenarios. What would you do?

Thanks for the replies. I was expecting more of a split but overwhelmingly the vote is for getting what one wants.

Hypothetical scenarios. What would you do?

That is why I am debating about forgoing the other items to avoid one. I have been tossing this idea around for a while.

Hypothetical scenarios. What would you do?

Totally unaware about the unconnect 5. Is there a thread about it?

Hypothetical scenarios. What would you do?

I do a lot of around town driving and wasn't thrilled with e-Torque as it feels like downshifting when coming to a stop. It was annoying enough for me to think about giving up all the wanted items to get a standard v8 if the price was worth it.

Hypothetical scenarios. What would you do?

Actually, the Laramie price is the Mark Dodge price.

Hypothetical scenarios. What would you do?

Scenario 1 : 2023 Laramie with everything I want. Only downside is it has the e-Torque system. MSRP : 67,975 Discounted : 63,118 + tax + tag + $444 Scenario 2 : 2022 Big Horn and missing most of the items on my "want" list. But does have standard V8 MSRP : 55,925 Out The Door : 42,000 That...

    Price negotiated from MSRP

Asking for future reference..... Should they discount the rebates first prior to calculating tax or is it normal procedure to calculate tax then rebates?

    Price negotiated from MSRP

I was very tempted on a 2022 Laramie, but it wasn't configured how I wanted it. The MSRP 59,855 and the offer 48,105 and OTD 53,260. I may be able to get them lower, but to me the options I wanted took priority over the price. The 2022s are selling quickly and pickings are slim. Current plans...

Which search engine for find specific Ram truck.

I found that Cars.com works very well. The filtering system gives excellent options and you can make it search up to 500 miles radius of a zip code. One neat aspect is if a vehicle is selected, it provides a graph of the price history. A click of the embedded link takes you to the vehicle on...

    Have a couple Big Horn/Laramie questions/comparisons.

Actually seeing a number of dealers listing 2023s with the Granite Crystal. No pictures yet, but the Window Sticker lists the color.

As of today, the Granite Crystal Metallic is still not visible.

    2023 laramie

Neither Laramie or Big Horn. Web site issue or have they done away with the color?

How much of a Top View do you get with the Surround Camera?

Thanks for the feedback. Checked out a Titan the day and it was this way as well, but on the far right of the screen. To me it was useless. Have yet to find a Ram dealer with a Laramie that has the surround camera which had me wondering maybe people didn't like the small camera.

    Price negotiated from MSRP

Nice, so dealers can opt to give discounts on "orders"?

    eTorque Batter replacement

Good info, thanks. Gotta stop believing everything I read on the internet. :D

    eTorque Batter replacement

The $1,700 every 10 years or so seems more reasonable.

    eTorque Batter replacement

Well, if I don't want eTorgue it means I have to buy now before all the 2022s run out. Later this year, i will have to get it even if I don't want it. Unless the possibility of then bringing back the Hemi without the eTorque then I would gladly wait.
