Man, looking at how fast some of these trucks are getting built, I feel like I could reorder from MD, save money, get the truck faster, and get a few things that weren't available when I ordered like ASG and PFM. Lol. I'm still sitting in inspection, according to my sales guy. Ugh. Lol
Yup. BS on Feb 1st. I can't figure out why its taking so long, and every time I've asked the dealer he says he's never seen one take this long. But then suddenly to of thy blue, he says it's being shipped next week. I'm confused as he!! About it, especially with how many trucks I've seen on...
Just got this text in response to me pestering my dealer for an update on my truck that's been in "inspection" for 25 days now:
"It's still in inspection, but when I spoke with the Chrysler rep he said it will be shipped next week. "
Just wondering who he spoke with that gave him that answer...
From what I've seen, your ESD is more than likely the actual build date as the truck literally can be built in less than 12 hrs, minus body vendor items. My truck was built on my ESD, and is now in inspection...... for 23 days now. Lol
Random question: does anybody know what time Ram updates the status of vehicles? Or is it kind of all day throughout the day? Just wondering what time is best to contact my dealer and harass them about updated status.
They said they got clearance from Ram to just add the Borla exhaust to it and sell them that way. Apparently it was cheaper and easier to install two new exhausts instead of swapping two and installing one.
Literally had a Laramie GT, REBEL GT and a limited parked next to each other at the dealership, and the only one with the CAT exhaust was the Limited, and it wasn't even supposed y have it. Lol
I'd straight up lose my mind if I saw that on my truck. I wouldn't care if they offered to install a new CAI. I'd be demanding they order me a new truck at a bigger discount. But that's just me.
Just stopped by my dealership, and the sales guy said that the reason my vehicle is stuck in inspection is because it's waiting for a truck or a train to take it to the dealer. That doesn't necessarily jive with what I've been told, and what I've read on here. Am I crazy on this or is he right...
