The new thing I’m concerned about is the brakes failing that a user just posted about they had a little over 2000 miles and the dealer said there where 6 other cases of this
Ask them about the tsb related to engine misfires released on October 8th. It applies to all 2025s built before October 4th I believe. It’s a simple flash update and addresses misfires and some other codes
frequently change the oil, the 3.6 has cam shaft and lifter/rocker issues that can happen. Also change your oil filter housing if possible from the stock plastic to the aluminum. Those are the 2 things I know of that keep them down.
I just figure with a high compression engine, running the higher octane to reduce detonation would be the safer bet. Part of me feels like they say you can run regular to not turn away buyers, but ultimately not good. I know the sensors can retard and advance timing, but I don’t know if I could...
But I didn’t have an active engine light, I did have a cold start misfire. They said it would be a cost if I wanted the update. But now that it’s an RSU can I get refunded ?
So when the system shows an rsu and I am up to date just disregard? Also if nice it’s an rsu is it covered under warranty I paid out of pocket for update
