I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with my truck as well. I’m having a similar issue. Service electronic stability control is popping up, then about 30 minutes later I’m getting several systems unavailable errors, pretty much every system in the truck, followed 6-7 minutes later with a No...
I reinstalled my tazer two days ago to calibrate my Speedo and had all kinds of electrical issues on my 6 hour drive last night from Georgia to Florida.
My truck just freaked out and cut off 4 times over the course of driving.
Service electronic stability control popped on then about 10...
So I replaced all of mine with infinity reference ones initially. I just got in the cdt cl69 6x9 slim for the front doors in 4 ohm and the cl69 sub for the rear doors. I’ve only purchased put in one of the slim ones and I think it plays louder with much more mid bass than the infinity 6x9 did
I still haven’t worked to fix mine.. I believe my issue with the calibration may have something to do with my unlocked pcm as it isn’t the one that came with my truck new… I figure some file must be off but haven’t went down that rabbit hole just yet
My safety systems haven’t worked for over a year because of this calibration issue. After taking time to try to fix 3 times I just haven’t worried about it for a while but do need to try to get it rectified again.
Yes the dealership removes a windshield to replace the headliner. Or they remove the rear window. Either way they have to replace whichever one they remove. You can replace the headliner without removing either of course but that’s the way they do it
Most installers say they can get the headliner out and in without removing the windshield. They can bring it out the front passenger door from my understanding by doing something with the seat
Yeah you can either buy a new unlocked pcm or send yours in to be unlocked and the tune applied. They are Diablo tuned from procharger. I’ve switched over to hptuners.
Yeah I’ve saw what that rabbit hole can do. I have the control not to go that route. My truck is quick enough. It will surprise a scat pack at least and run with it for a few seconds lol
I don’t tow. Mine has been installed for 4 years but install around then would’ve been about 2k. I know people who have installed procharger kits themselves on previous gen rams. It’s not overly complicated with step by step instructions and support provided by procharger.
