A quick search of the forums will reveal several threads already discussing CarPlay issues ad-nauseum.
There are many varied reasons that it may not work.
I had many issues after receiving my truck, but after buying and using a USB-C cable, turning on CarPlay when locked by going to my iPhone...
Took me about 35 minutes including unboxing. It’s very straight forward.
I didn’t notice anything break on my temp sensor...1/4 turn and a tug pulled it right out.
I won’t know about mileage for a little while, but I love the sound so much, I’ll take a little hit.
Welcome aboard the Chrysler Cruiseship, Ramona (read Ram-owna). The most luxurious land yacht on the fruited plain.

Only took about 25 minutes to install. Nice and quiet...until the hammer is down!

I like a slightly heavier vehicle for the smoother ride as I use my truck predominately for family travel and city driving. I love the comment in the article “it looks like a Mercedes S class exploded” in the ram cab! :D
I LOVE my truck and all my buddies are trying hard to find a way to get one!
