Honestly... as a consumer when I use my iphone and it all works... and I use Android Auto and it doesn't. It doesn't look or feel like a Uconnect issue. It looks and feels like an Android Auto issue. One they need to resolve. In the end as the customer I DGAF if it's billy bob joe's fault...
I just want android auto to natively give full screen maps and turn instructions on my cluster like apple does. I have both phones with my iPhone being a work device. The integration is so much better for that.
I've found CarPlay has a FAR better integration with Uconnect. Full screen maps and cluster turn by turn. Both things android auto does not do. Kind of sad to see Google falling behind like this.
Tooling around DFW with my longer drives being 75-80mph for duration I'm pulling 18-20 mpg on my 2025 SST SO. I do have a heavy foot on the highway.... obviously.
Your truck has the highest profit margins so I'm sure they will turn it out quickly for you to enjoy! Nice purchase.. do you have the build sheet you can share (minus VIN) so we can lust... I mean drool... over your package... wait... that sounds bad.
Part of the issue is in previous versions of ram trucks 4wh was how 4wa works. 4wa with set drive modes will direct power to all 4 wheels in various amounts and auto shift as slip is detected.
Because on the new rams 2025 and above 4w high keeps all power in lock steps to all wheels even when turning which can cause wheel hop and other issues with wear at speed.
Hot damn man i did basically the same thing. The package I got was called Redline.. And I did 30% from windows, 50% increase on rear windows taking them to like 13%. And the 80% front. It's dual layered Nano-Ceramic film. And I did the 80% clear, with 43% heat reduction 86% IR heat...
What they are referring to is what I will call... the hot air balloon theory.
You understand that when you heat the air in a hot air balloon you actually displace air out of the balloon making it lighter than the air around it and hence you go up. The VOLUME doesn't change just the relative...
I mean... tire pressures could matter. And it's important to change your speedometer settings when you change your tire size... it go's into the efficiency calculations and everything.
Check out batteries plus. On my old ride I replaced the battery one time since 2013 with a Duracell. Not once did I ever have an battery related issue in Texas heat with long periods of being parked.
