The outside temp sensor is in the left side mirror IIRC. A black piece of plastic will absorb all the sun it can. So the thermometer reading is really high when you first start it up after sitting in the sun. After driving for awhile, it levels out

87 vs 89 doesn’t really make a difference in mpg as the manual says. Good quality 87 should suffice

Update on this. Straightened the bumper a bit with the tractor, not perfect by any means but better. Got a new light and painted the dent. I can live with this for now.

That’s a ground strap which connects to the exhaust. I really wouldn’t worry about it. Won’t affect your truck
