The front bumper on my 2019 looked terrible after only a few months. I gave up on trying to touch up all of the chips because there was literally hundreds. First thing I did when I got my 22 was have PPF put on the front bumper and it looks as good as new 7 months later.
Thanks for your reply. It didn’t work pretty much all day long, and at several different locations. Then all of a sudden, it just started working again. However, the proximity sensors worked just fine. I barely ever use the buttons on the FOB to lock/unlock the truck, but I do use remote start...
Rehashing this older thread. My FOB did not work for most of the day today. Could not lock/unlock doors or remote start by pushing the buttons on the FOB, but the proximity unlock still worked and my truck started as expected by pushing the start button.
I assumed the battery in the FOB was on...
I had this same thing happen a couple of times when I first got my ‘22. I had a USB thumb drive plugged in at the time.. I since removed it and it hasn’t occurred since.
I leave it in 4WD Auto all the time. It does no harm at all. I did the same with my 2019 Bighorn for the last 2+ years that I owned it and never had one issue. If the mileage takes a hit, it’s minimal and not even noticeable.
Yea, I was referring to the fender flares. New Laramies look just like Big Horns now. That was one of the few things that set them apart. Pretty cheesy of RAM if you ask me.
Sport comes with body colored bumpers, body colored appliqué and grille surround, black trim pieces around the windows, etc., some black trim pieces in the cabin.. it still has chrome emblems..and polished aluminum wheels, and bright exhaust tips..
Night Edition adds black appliqué and grill...
The paint chipping is an issue on all trucks with painted bumpers. I learned my lesson with my 2019 BH, so I had PPF put on my new truck. It does have a few chips in the PPF itself but it’s way better than my old truck. I only had the bumper done because that’s where the majority of the chips...
My personal preference is the Laramie. Although, I did seriously consider ordering a BackCountry. Ultimately, I didn’t like the look of the shiny black bumpers. In my opinion, they should have made them matte black instead.
