This is the reason I've never liked ramboxes, they almost always seem misaligned. I found that there's a tool and instructions to correct this so I bought the mopar tool 2069900230 and adjusted mis-aligned ramboxes. My trucks passenger side was far worse than the driver
I found a new tool on...
Correct
It is silky smooth, the 5.7 HEMI is silky smooth but the Hurricanes are even smoother. On a hot restart there's been a few times when I've had to double check that engine is running after Ive pushed the start button
To the bolded, that was actually one of my hesitations too but after having a Laramie SO rental for a month, that was quickly forgotten
Turbo engines are typically quieter than N/A engines and this truck is very quiet inside, not a lot of engine sound at all for the most part. I can still hear...
They didn't fit, the description was wrong. I talked to the parts guy and he said there's no body color caps for 25 and up as of now. Its black, chrome and unpainted primer.
I'm either going to wrap them or leave them
My 20 Limited was hit in an accident (indian driver making a left of a flashing yellow, hit 3 of us) and enterprise gave me a 2025 Laramie SST that I've had for about a month. Its transmission was a little clunky at slow speeds, under 25 mph driving through my neighborhood. Upon seeing the quote...
Got some time to play with the Klipsch system. As good as the HK system is in the Limited, the Klipsch is far better. The HK had decent base and I would have liked a more balanced system but not enough to invest in changing the Limiteds as it was really good enough. The Klipsch has loads of...
Yeah, Helfman played that same BS with me, even claimed to have gotten the owner involved and they wouldnt be beat by another dealer. I showed them the Memphis truck and they said the trucks were optioned differently and they were. Helfmans truck had the MFT & no BUG; the Memphis truck had the...
Employee pricing had Tungsten's down in the low $70K range through August. I tried to buy on from Helfman in Houston but they wouldn't do more than $3K off msrp. I found a dealer in Memphis TN that was willing to match Mark Dodges prices and bought from them. There's 2 in CA selling for $73K and...
Just picked it up from getting PPF, they did a nice job
Full front ppf, hood, full front fenders, all four wheel flares, headlights mirrors, door pockets, grill surround, fog lights, a pillars, b-pillar, strip above the windshield and the ram box button area
I made an appointment today with ProTint in Plano. Depending on what you need, the sides and rear glass are $545 using Llumar IRX ceramic.
Windshield $315 and pano $225. (Prices include tax) This is the best price I've found in the area by $2-300 using high quality tint
Installed a new FitCamX, thought id be able to take the old one from my limited but they are different on 25's
Still looks factory though so that's a plus
TriTek in Garland but I'm going to Pro Tint in Plano this time, they gave me a quote about $200 lower.
Tint prices have gone crazy, windshield, both panos, side and rear glass:
TintTek in Garland $1200
TriTek in Garland $1448 or $1400 cash
ProTint Plano, $1100
This is all for ceramic with 89 or...
No, I could see fine but I didn't go stupid dark. 80% on the windshield and 35% on the rear and passenger sides and 30% on the front sides. I don't get the people that do 25% or less, driving at night becomes a problem. I had that on my Z28 ion the 2000's, I had to roll down the window at night...
I had my back window tinted, defroster never had any problems. Going to have the new truck done as well, my only issue is that the cost has almost doubled since I had it done in 2020
