If you have a low mileage used truck they are going for pretty good numbers right now. Especially because it's so hard getting trucks out of the factory.
It won't hurt to have them do a trade in appraisal, then you'll know how much more the new rebel will cost you.

I had a level 2 Laramie with the 12 inch screen.
We covid bought a camper not long after buying the truck so I had always been kind of on the lookout for a 2500 that I could trade it in for. We're also going to have a third child in June. My wife needed a vehicle with a third row and I decided...
All depends on how long you like to keep your vehicles, and how hard you work them. FWIW I am a dealer, but I'm not going to tell someone they have to run AMSOIL or else...just not how I am and not how AMSOIL even wants their dealers to act. I see the benefit to running it and like the reduced...
Stock sound systems have come a long ways, my 2500 has the 6 speaker while my 1500 had the 9 speaker with sub. I imagine the change from the 4 speaker to 6 would make a bigger difference, the imaging from the speakers on the dash would certainly make a huge difference.
There is a difference but...
Typically the 0% is special and it's an either or. Personally, I would take the extra 2k and then you can refinance with your preferred lender at a later date for a better rate.
Joe is correct, the 50 gallon tank is only available with the 8' bed. Which is not available with the mega cab.
However, if you want it that bad. There are companies out there that will give you an 8' bed with your mega cab, I believe I remember it being about 10k.

Heck, I'd settle for just an activated charcoal filter being available for them. The amount of stink these trucks pull in is incredible.
How often would you have to change that filter? Every 10k. Lol

Everyone's level of OCD is different, for me it's that I don't have to leave the house to do this stuff. I can do it when it's convenient for me and I don't have to wait at the shop for them to do it. Time is precious.
Plus, I've seen and experienced enough filters that you can't get off or oil...
I believe that there has to be a small bleed hole in the mds solenoid to allow some amount of oil through. Otherwise the lifter bore could almost always be dry and things would end very quickly.
I'm more inclined to think it's a matter of cheap oil, improper maintenance and low oil pressure with...
The permanent method is to remove the solenoids and install the "block offs" that are available for manual transmission challengers...but that involves tearing the intake and a few other things off the top of the motor.
I say "block offs" because they just stop the oil from ending up on top of...
Yeah, anyone who is doing serious off roading will want the full time 4wd transfer case.
I have seen where people have had issues with the auto t-case going into limp mode because it is overheating the clutches. Maybe they learned a few things with the one in the TRX though...who knows.
You will also have fuel filters to change.
Correct, while diesel engines typically last longer, the rest of the truck may not hold up as well. They're known for being harder on suspension parts.
I don't have any personal experience owning one, but you can hit up hdrams.com or some of the other...
If you're looking to go diesel then go for it if it's what you're set on. Maintenance is more costly but you will likely get better fuel mileage while towing. Unloaded it might be a wash between diesel and gas.
A 3500 will not be as nice of a daily as a 2500 will be, but a 2500 diesel will not...
I usually use top tier gas. Shell and BP tend to be what I frequent.
If I don't, I will throw a bottle of AMSOIL Upper Cylinder Lubricant in the tank. If you suspect the engine may already have buildup on the valves and in the fuel system, then a bottle of P.I. Performance Improver every 4k will...
I second buying a 2500, I had purchased a 1500 over a year and a half ago and just recently made the jump to a 2500 because COVID pushed us to purchase a camper earlier than we had planned. I don't have any reports on the 2500 yet but I was comfortable with towing our 32' camper with the 1500...
Takes some time for the stuff on the radio to come back, give it a day or so.
As for the switch, I think there have been others who have had theirs replaced.

It also depends on the cycle of the engine, as early as what stryker is saying and there could still be lots of debris shedding and plugging the filter. Start with the filter at 10k and maybe it's fine because all the break in wear is done.
Lot's of variables at play, If you're still going to...
