    What are you towing?

@Ramfancy the truck handles it very good for a half ton. I I could get a great deal on a2500, I’d go for it I think. I used to have a Ram 3500. The Anderson hitch isn’t as light as I thought, but it’s easy to set up, then disconnecting and connecting are pretty easy, you just need to be straight...

    What are you towing?

Well, we made it to the Gulf. We took 3 days for the trip here. The truck did great other than fighting 25 mph winds and gust the first two days. Day 3 was a pleasure. According to the truck, averaged 7.3mpg. @Ramfancy , we are really enjoying the rig. I’m not at all a fan of the “on demand hot...

What did you WITH your Ram this weekend

I've checked it before and it didn't seem to be loose, and I'm in an RV park so replacing it here is a no go.

    What are you towing?

I'm going to be close. After the warranty is up, I plan on moving the batteries and propane to the rear of the rig and put them in a aluminum storage box. Not much of a shift, but will help.

    What are you towing?

Installed and set up the Anderson Hitch. It works well. I test drove it with and without it hooked up and could really tell a deference for the better. EASY disconnect when done. It did shift the weight as advertised. I'm looking forward to hitting the road with it.

    What are you towing?

I've only browser it from the dealer home, about an hour and a half on back roads, no we both or anything and it felt and tracked solid. I head out at the first of the month for a shake down run to the Gulf, and trying it out for a month. Fixing little things I've discovered while getting ready...

    What are you towing?

I believe it depends on the make and model of the jack. It seen some that have holes that would seem to realign well, and some that just would not line up when rotated.

@silver billet , Thanks. Were hoping it works out well. Yeah, I've need to amend my signature... These 20's with the Michelin tires work well.

@SD Rebel I did the two bags, but working around the skid plate and the larger filter, it was just a pain.

how often is everyone changing oil

I tried the plastic bag over the filter.... I have the lager filter on it...it didn't work out so clean. I'm going to switch back to the stock sized filter and just swap them mid oil life cycle as needed.

I've tried boiled linseed oil and it seems to work ok...I didn't get around to it this year, but there's still remnants from last year on the truck.
