Seems like the secret is out on the deals and straight talk from @AnthonyRI And the folks at Mark Dodge. C-tech and Truck + SUV talk released videos in the last couple days about their RHO orders and experience with Mark Dodge and now other you tube channels are picking it up and spreading the...
Sounds like a good deal but I am curious about granger telling you 4-6 months on a custom order and if that was just a sales tactic. I ordered on 12/18 and had a VIN and D1 status the next day with est delivery of 1/23. That said I've stayed in D1 for a couple weeks now so maybe things will...
I used to tow an RPod like that but with a weight distribution hitch with sway bars. I didn't have sag but the trailer swayed more than I liked. I got a new 24ft dual axle TT last summer that weighs closer to 7,500lbs loaded and my Ram pulls that great with a wdh and sway bars. I've towed...
Good catch - that wad a typo! I ordered on 12/18/24. Went into D1 on 12/19/24 and dealer told me estimated delivery was 1/23/25 but it hasn't moved since and doesn't appear to have started the build so who knows.
Laramie and Rebel withbthe level 2 package and Limited, limited longhorn and Tungsten. If your truck has the option there should be a key card in the center console (this is what I've heard on the forum as I don't have my truck yet).
I find the forums very helpful but for these kinds of answers tend to default to the manufacturers guidance. That said I also found this video interesting as he interviews one of the engineers who developed this engine and the Hemi and they discuss engine break-in and oil changes etc.
Yes there is a break-in procedure outlined in the owner's manual.
ENGINE BREAK-IN RECOMMENDATIONS A long break-in period is not required for the engine and drivetrain (transmission and axle) in your vehicle. Drive moderately during the first 300 miles (500 km). After the initial 60 miles (100...
Curious how long others have waited between D1 and a build date. My order went to D1 on 12/18/24 and had an estimated delivery date of 1/24/25. As of today the build still hasn't started so it seems that delivery date will be hard to make if it doesn't start the build very soon.
Mark Dodge will show you the dealer discount as well as all your incentives. They sell trucks cheaper than basically anyone else but Koons or Granger will sometimes be close. You can then either order from Mark Dodge or use that price as your basis for negotiating with a local dealer. You...
Yeah that is a new one - never heard of a dealer rejecting a warranty repair because the car is under 500 miles. I would be upset about that if they pulled it on a mechanical issue that made the truck undriveable or similar but I suppose they may just want to allow a break-in period before...
Agreed and there are so many small but important details and so many changes from year to year that are hard to learn about. This forum has been a huge help for me to learn and all questions so always happy to do the same when I'm able.
I'm curious what lights you have now (halogen, led, night package) and what lights you're wanting to swap to. Sounds like it isn't possible due to updated electrical for 2025 but in my case going from a 23 Laramie to a 25 I am most disappointed in the change from LED tail lights to halogen and...
I belive bed lights are now standard feature on Laramie and up so no longer in bed utility group. BUG now includes a 400W outlet in the bed in addition to spray-in liner, bed rails and step. Some physical buttons are missing in trucks with the new 14" screen and have become icons on the screen...
I was of course very interested in this being true as I have a Laramie on order. Clearly not true currently looking at the Ram website so I decided to watch the video and all I can say is that guy is hard to watch and seems to mostly care about acting like he is the coolest guy vs the bullies...
Haven't seen anyone post about this yet but saw in this 24 vs 25 comparison that the heated/ventilated seats can be controlled by zone like Chevy does. He talks about it at the 7 min mark.
I was just browsing the manual and it seems you need to adjust 2 different settings
When the “Greeting Lights” feature is selected, it enables “Headlight Illumination On Approach”. When “Headlight Illumination On Approach” is selected, it allows the adjustment of the amount of time the...
No idea how to modify a pre 2025 for this but one of the updates to 2025 models with heated/ventilated seats is the ability heat/cool just the seat or back or both. He addresses this change at arpnd the 7 min mark.
A quick search of IIHS or NHTSA data show the 5th gen trucks score equal to or higher than the 4th gen in all areas. In particular the higher trims with projector LED score the highest avail 5 star rating.
Has anyone moved a topper from a 19-24 to a new 2025? The topper guy said it will fit but they changed the shape of the top of the tailgate so it won't be perfect. Curious to hear from anyone who has done this and/or has pictures.
