What tires are you running with 22” wheels

A lot of members here run the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2. It seems to be a very popular tire for our trucks. This is the tire I’ll be going with when my current ones need replacement, which is very soon.

Water spots specifically on the plastic trim parts....

I’ve never used it on those surfaces, but a clay bar works miracles on removing water spots on paint and glass. Might be worth a shot to try just a small piece. That surface may be too rough though. I treat tires and plastic trim with this, and it works great.

    Heater core removal

How in the hell are heater cores going bad in 4-5 years? This should be a 15-20 year part. I’m guessing inferior crap Chinese junk parts?

    Rough Country SF1 Fender Flares?!?

Member “LowRam” here has some Rough County fender flares on his truck. They look pretty good on his setup. You might check out his build page.

Anyone know best way to depin this connector

I’d be really careful poking improper “tools” into an automotive connector. You mess up one of those pins and you may be chasing electrical demons for a long time. Not telling you what to do, just saying.

What did you do to your Ram today???

It aids in minimizing body roll. It makes the truck more planted in the corners. The factory one is not as stiff and is a bit flexible. You will need shorter links to keep the sway bar parallel to the ground or it will sit at an angle minimizing its effectiveness. I ordered a shorter set from...

What did you do to your Ram today???

I highly recommend the Hellwig sway bar, if you haven’t done so yet.

What did you do to your Ram today???

X2. I’m in my 50’s and I’ve hated chrome since my early 30’s. I’m a big fan of the blacked out look. I think it’s subtle and not so blingy like chrome and other shiny add-ons.

    Comparison to Mega Cab

I miss mine. Actually I miss the 600+hp Cummins. But the interior room was a plus.

Anyone know best way to depin this connector

Probably going to require one or more of these.

    Comparison to Mega Cab

True. I forgot to mention that.

    Comparison to Mega Cab

I had a 2006 2500 Laramie Mega Cab and now have a 2022 1500 Laramie Crew Cab and I can tell you that my Mega Cab had quite a bit more room. The seat backs in my Mega Cab actually reclined. And they folded forward which offered behind the seat storage and a large flat area for loading stuff. The...

What did you do to your Ram today???

I’m assuming the 6112’s are not inside the factory springs? Are the 6112 springs larger diameter than the factory ones?

2021 RAM 1500 Limited is Getting 8.5 MPG, Easy Driving, No Aftermarket Upgrades or Mods

Geez, that’s bad. My 2005 4.0L LJR with a 3/2 lift on 35’s averages 9-10 mpg. And that thing is like driving a cinder block into a 50 mph headwind. I had a 2020 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi and eTorque and it averaged 13.8. And I’m not light on the throttle. Something doesn’t add up.
