Here's what these new emails look like. I've received one to confirm my order, confirm production is scheduled (D1), and now rolling down the assembly line.
Just talked to my dealer - they're saying my ship date is 5/21... two days from now? We shall see - could happen considering I'm only a few days behind some of the recent Limiteds that have started production.
The manager I talked to this morning tried telling me it was going to take a few...
Ram Brand
[email protected]
"Your RAM 1500 Order Has Been Received"
"Your RAM 1500 Is In Our Production Queue"
Those are the 2 emails I have gotten so far being in D1. I ordered 5/4 - not sure if anyone who ordered prior to the start of this email system will get any emails as their...
Doesn't really add up IMO. They spend who knows how much developing these new I6 engines to improve CAFE, and get almost nothing out of it? The 6.4 HEMI is over a decade old - beating its efficiency should've been pretty doable. Regardless of that, I understand every MPG counts on mass produced...
Got another email today from RAM saying I was in the production queue. Chat said my status changed yesterday. Dealer said it should be D1 now, ETA late June.
Ordered 5/4. D/VIN on 5/5. D1 on 5/8.
You haven't lost ANC - the ANC system is going haywire. The motor is not noisy. You can disconnect ANC and barely notice a difference in sound levels. ANC is not tuned for anything other than stock speakers, and 99% of the time, any aftermarket speaker/subwoofer setup will cause issues...
Not sure if it's part of what this guy is claiming, but I ordered on Wednesday and received an email yesterday from RAM saying my order was received, and I'd receive another email when it's scheduled to be built.
I hit D status/VIN on Thursday though. Not sure if the emails are delayed, or if I...
I already have the truck in my signature - getting rid of it lol. I ordered a black night edition Limited with the EcoDiesel - I really miss that engine, and the sea salt is not going to be fun with kids (namely because of the cloth). Was a bit of an impulse buy because it was on the lot. Dealer...
Tempting but I would prefer a device with LTE capability since I don't have unlimited hotspot on my phone and would like to be able to move the device between vehicles.
The configuration preview my dealer printed had the engine cost at $4,995. After the order was placed, it changed to $3,200. Not sure if it's a glitch, or the price going up... hoping for the expected price of $3,200.
I've tried 3 different Android AI Box devices and haven't had any luck - it's a uConnect 5 compatibility problem, because they don't work in my wife's Grand Cherokee L either. Even the most well-known Carlinkit didn't work. I sent them plenty of proof and they say they're working on it, but no ETA.
That looks like some child's toy crap. I hate the digital cluster in my wife's L - it's boring, laggy, and provides no real benefit. The high quality analog gauges + center screen in current trucks is far better IMO.
I've tried the suction cup method on 2 trucks in the past. The first went off without a hitch. The 2nd truck had one of the mirrors separate at the power adjusting housing instead of pulling the mirror out by itself - panic ensued for about an hour as I eventually figured out how to get that...
