    Interior Insulation by trim?

I had an '18 S90 T8 Inscription and my measurements showed my RAM as being slightly quieter. It's body-on-frame and the cabin is much higher from the roadway which is likely why. I also didn't find the pre-refresh Pacificas to be super quiet... at least not my wife's 2020 we had. We have a 2021...

    ETorque Issue

The Pacifica is not similar to eTorque whatsoever. With Pacifica you either have a straight up gas V6 Pentastar, or the plug-in hybrid with 2 electric motors and a V6 Pentastar tuned to Atkinson cycle all housed in the same "e-CVT" transaxle.

    Skip e-torque?

These trucks have relatively poor AC unless you get a very new one (apparently TSB 24-001-20 is the fix and involves revised HVAC plumbing). Easiest solution is to reduce/kill heater core flow in the hot months (huge thread on this). Yes, eTorque can cause you to feel uncomfortable when the...

    2020 Limited w Air Ride...rough ride

Tires certainly can make a difference. Nothing else should be a factor because parts haven't changed. Make sure the air pressure is good, but that's about all you can do other than swapping tires and hoping your memory isn't deceiving you. I think my truck rides great. Yes, it is a little firm...

    Interior Insulation by trim?

Generally it isn't. ANC is geared towards constant low pitched noise, mostly targeted towards the engine and exhaust. Not sure that it will do anything against road noise, but maybe. Even with ANC disabled, the truck is still very quiet. Its benefit is relatively minimal.

    Open Differential? Not so much.

It should, but stability control is separate and could also play a factor if it thinks the vehicle will travel in an unintended direction due to wheel slip.

    Interior Insulation by trim?

Every modern vehicle is like that. That is a modular plastic panel mounted between the door sheet metal and the interior door trim panel to hold the speakers, wiring, collision sensors, etc. Does not do much in terms of noise reduction. It's just a solid layer of plastic. Nothing behnd the door...

    Interior Insulation by trim?

I really don't think there's much or any sound insulation in these trucks. A few spots have it in the exterior panels/crevices (like all vehicles), and there is good door weather stripping, but as far as interior insulation goes, I have not found anything too noticeable. The rear cab wall has...

How many miles on your Hemi - any generation

My mom has a 2009 Aspen with the 5.7. About 300,000 miles. Original engine with no repairs or parts replacements other than spark plugs (only twice over the entire life of the engine...). Synthetic blend oil roughly every 5K. She has done basically 0 maintenance other than oil and it's still going.

Why isn't my ECO Light in my 2020 RAM (5.7 Liter) coming on EVER?? Even at 55 mph.

Must be enabled in your Uconnect display settings. The ECO light is directly tied to MDS operation and nothing else. If MDS is active, the ECO light illuminates. If it does not, MDS is not active (assuming you have the light enabled). MDS obviously functions fine without the ECO light enabled...

H/K audio upgrade - VAST Improvment

Yes, only for the 6x9 door speakers, but it still works well. I ran this same frankenstein factory sub setup for awhile, but just put a 10" Rockford Fosgate powered sub under the seat which can be easily removed if I need the space.

    Lane Sense Not Working??

Lane sense in these trucks is trash. It barely applies force even at the highest setting. Works noticeably better in other FCA vehicles I've owned. That said, they should have added a constant lane centering feature by now, at least for highway use. Lane sense is damn near 10 years old.

    Throttle controllers...

This is probably one of the few units worth the asking price considering the features/fail safes. Marketing is a bit cringe though. And, I don't believe their claims of removing throttle lag/improving response time. The pedal input has no control over this. Without tuning something in the PCM...

H/K audio upgrade - VAST Improvment

Only the reclining seats have this easy access pull loop. Standard seats do not.

    HK subwoofer ohm rating

The only update I am aware of was, I believe, late 2018/early 2019. It increased volume and maybe bass. There has not been any amplifier update for the HK system since.

5th Gen Stock Stereo Upgrade Options?

Just a warning to guys who want to at least have the option to return speakers they don't end up liking or working well with their setup... I went to return a pair to Sonic Electronix this week and was DENIED because "power was applied" making them used and unreturnable. I'm sorry, but WHAT...

    HK subwoofer ohm rating

Music is stereo and generally should only be coming from directly in front of you. I don't know why you think there should be any rear fill or equally weighted sound coming from the rear, but if that's what you like, go for it. As for the rear window rattle, search here on the forums. Some of us...

    rear HK tweeter removal

Large plastic pry tool to spread out the force and avoid denting the fiberboard headliner. Takes a lot of force, but it does pop out.

    HK Rear Seat Sound

You put all that effort in and left the stock subwoofer hooked up? Dude, go disconnect that piece of garbage right now.

    Harman Kardon Boomy Bass

I'd say that's a non-issue for a solid state amplifier based on a quick search on the matter. I've been running mine for months with the subwoofer unplugged, as do many others who do anything aftermarket.
