You're right that laborers are easily replaced. I'm an electrician who specializes in automation. I'm specifically part of the problem.
It's a simple stance on morals and values. I fundamentally believe that the American labor market is broken. Healthcare is broken. Wages have not kept up with...
I guess all the news outlets are lying when they say the median employee at these plants make $18-30/hr. Inflation has risen 20-30% depending on the metrics you follow. Asking for 40% in hopes you get 25-30% isn't out landish. Wages haven't kept up with inflation period. The unions made...
And I've watched my union keep older plants from being shut down as part of negotiations. A union is just a collective bargaining group. Lawyers and doctors are part of unions. They just call them associations. People have said yellow freight shut down because of the union yet they fail to...
Proud member of a union. Unions are what have brought the entire working class up. In my opinion they're not asking for too much. Some of these things were just talking points. For example the 32 hr work week. Everyone knew it was never going to happen but it's better to ask for it all and cut...
Just as an FYI for anyone reading - Be careful when using the all in one's. I think the newer Peak 10x is potentially a safe coolant. It's a p-oat with no 2-EHA, silicate, nitrite, borate or amines. Allegedly you can mix the two (our trucks are OAT) but it's not recommended. There's a potential...
Mobilfluid LT for the 4auto per the manual. Redline MT-LV is a Mobil fluid LT equivalent per their website. Again I recognize it's all opinion and not that one is wrong. Just wanted to share that info.
The new hybrids are "e-cvt". They're actually driven by dual electric motors powered by the battery pack. I much prefer the current hybrid engineering to the old style. I was ridiculed here in the past for recommending bigger batteries with a small on board engine to act as a generator. That's...
I think alot of this comes down to personal opinion and tolerance for risk. If you're using the correct weight and it's not out right negligence what are the actual chances they void your warranty? I tend to err on the side of caution but with most of the modern synthetic oils I've taken an oil...
Traded my truck in on this 24 CRV Hybrid Sport L......jk I did drive my truck to test drive it though. Fantastic little car though. Gonna be getting rid of my wife's van for this or one similar. Wife will drive it for a few years until it's paid off then I'll take it for my commuter. My little...
HEY YOU KNOW WHAT!? That's fair. After all the back and forth I apparently got lost. Should've just went to bed and dreamed about the TRX I'll never own. Lol
But there is. I keep fogs on at all times but I don't have them on with my brights. When my brights are on and I'm turning my fog for that side will illuminate. I haven't turned fogs in permanently with alpha because I prefer for people to know when my brights are off since it's standard for...
It's just coolant that's become gelatinous. I'd say it's more of an orange color vs brown but we're splitting hairs. If I had to guess the coolant splashes up in the reservoir and gets hot. So it starts to change physical properties over time.
I actually just did the same thing. I have 48k on my 2020 ram. Noticed the wife's van was a little low on coolant and thought I'd check my truck. Dip stick had the brown sludge and per the dip stick the overflow tank was virtually empty. I've personally never added any coolant. Led me to doing...
