Mine does the same thing here in Virginia. 100% normal for humid weather. My house does the same thing when my AC is on and it's 85+ degrees out with 80% humidity.
I hope I can help,
The new 3.6L etorque is notorious for this "acceleration surge", go to the Jeep forum, damn near everyone reports it. What the Jeep guys discovered is the surging is caused by a combination of the new EGR system, and how the new lifter system helps with MPG. This issue is...
Does everyone with the AC issue have the Hemi? I have the ***** 6 and my AC is ice cold, only time it gets warm is when my stop/start is engaged at a light, then my ac gets warm.
Welcome!
I'm coming from GM, I've had an S10 and two Silverados. Love my Ram 1500. Just keep an eye on your driver side floor board, these trucks are known to leak water into the cab from that location.
Got my truck back from the dealership, they said my brake rotors were rusted and mentioned it was probably from the factory (they've seen this before). All they did was spin the rotors and the noise went away. If it comes back they will replace the rotors.
I am assuming with the larger TB and more free flowing intake, the engine is receiving more air and therefore will react faster with the press of the pedal. People keep recommending the pedal commander but my pedal response is far from insufficient.
I've never had an issue with my eTorque, my truck seems really "jumpy" but it's been that way since I've installed my oversized throttle body and high flow air filter. And yes, if you disconnect the battery in these trucks they literally forget a ton of the features they have, I've done it twice...
Called my local dealer about my two pending recalls and informed them about the brake noise. They said they will take a look at it next Thursday so I'll let you guys know what they say.
Like the title says, everytime I hit the brake it sounds like a rusty spring is being extended, same story when I let off the brake. It just started doing it about 300 miles ago and hasn't stopped. From what i can tell it is only the front driver side brake. I've looked through it and saw that...
On my way to DC from Virginia Beach during the Covid-19 crap I set my cruise control at 65 and left it there the entire way, I averaged 28.5 (according to my dash) and hand calculated was 27.3. These Pentastars are extremely efficient!
Edited: DC from Virginia Beach NOT Washington state.
Yes, after they sealed the welds the 2nd time (the ones under the carpet in the cab) I have had no more leaks. It rains quite a bit here in Virginia and I have checked it everytime it rained. No more leaks.
