I wouldn't have noticed it if I didn't have some seat time in an eTorque in addition to the 57K miles in mine.
This is by far the smoothest shifting vehicle I've ever had. The eTorque makes it just a tad smoother that most probably won't notice.
My dad's eTorque HEMI shifts a little smoother than mine (straight up all-motor "man's" HEMI  (y)). After driving his ("flat" shift) I notice a slight hesitation between shifts on mine ("smooth" shift).
In the Navy "back in the day" you could smoke just about anywhere except the mess decks (eating area). I could never get away from it underway and hated it (sleeping, working, etc.).

I usually mix things up and go with something else the next time around but these tires were great. Add the fact there are not many non-E-rated options for the OEM 18" wheels for off-road tires and it was a no-brainer.
54K miles is a lot more than I was expecting for...
I'll slap a U-Haul on the back to haul some stuff to/from storage without any adjustments but I never tow any appreciable weight (especially that needs a WDH) at anything but max cold psi.
There are two different models for the Falken Wildpeak: A/T3W (more off-road focused) and A/T3WA (more on-road with an occasional dirt road focus).
The A/T3WA is the one that comes on the truck if you get the ORG (along with a full-sized spare with that tire as well).
1. Hellwig rear swaybar. I don't have one but if I was planning on doing any real towing I would defintely get one.
2. Tires with a higher load rating than SL. C, XL, D, or E-rated tires. The stiffer sidewall helps with load control and improves towing experience.
3. A good weight distribution...
You can never have too much tire.
It will be a personal decision based on budget, use, looks, and feel (the higher the rating the firmer the sidewall...and ride).
My last truck was an HD diesel (7800 lbs empty) with 3.73 in the rear so an E-rated tire was a no-brainer. Since it was a diesel I...
Interference. Whether it's radio frequencies or some other invisible magic beams it's having a hard time sensing the fob (I think the hub is in the roof near the CHSML).
With all the technology these days, especially wireless, the air would be thick with it if you could see everything that's...
Thanks from me too for making sure I got the right one. (y)
I got crossed up and thought the X2 was an H8 size instead of the H7 that it is.
Battery died after 2 1/2 years and the X2 is a drop-in replacement. X2 was the only way to go for me as I had two North Stars in my last truck and they...
Big Horns almost always have more incentives than anything with leather (Laramie, Longhorn, Limited). Helps keep those trucks more "exclusive" and targets a specific clientel.
When I bought mine there was an additional $5K off for a Big Horn. I would have easily swallowed an extra $4K to get my...
64GB with FAT32 formatting should be fine with MP3 files. That's what I am using.
I think uConnect also reads WAV and FLAC from a thumb drive in addition to MP3 but that's just from some Google-ing (nothing official). I also read something about a JPG file needing to be on the thumb drive too...
The step is in the perfect spot to split the height difference between the ground and tailgate...at least for stock height like mine is.
Much better than the dent (step) in the edge of the bumper on other brands (or fancy multi-position tailgates that have a lot of extra stuff to...
My dad has the Falkens and they are a great tire.
I'm about to hit 55K miles in my XL Ridge Grapplers and loved them from beginning to end. The "end" was probably 5K miles ago (still some tread left in the center but the sides are pretty much bald now).
I don't want an E-rated tire, and my...
It's all electronic now so that's just more stuff to break.
I'm "old school" but I've been spoiled by the dash knob and my jacuzzi-sized center console.
