Foam cup holder in the door?

I think they still give you both if you get the "upper echelon" trucks with leather seats. We "common folk" cloth seater-ers only get one.

    Gas Mileage

It was a $1200 option for my '19, a $200 option on my dad's '20, and now it's "free". I drive a fair amount of highway for my work commute which keeps my MPGs "up". Weekend driving, grocery runs, etc., are all short hops and sucks down the fuel sitting at stop lights, navigating around parking...

    Nav. Without XM Guarding

I have NAV and (had) Guardian. I did not re-up Guardian and no change to my NAV (works the same). Did you call and cancel at the end of your trial or just "let it expire"? As a "convenience" featureSirius will automatically continue your subscription at list price if you have an active card on...

Steering Wheel Vibration - Normal with 33" A/T Tires?

You'll "feel the hum" depending on the tire. As long as the wheel isn't shaking or vibrating it's normal.

    Gas Mileage

Mine went up some but not a whole lot. I get about 15 mpg average on winter blend and 16 mpg on summer blend. As ferraiolo1 said, driving habits play a lot into that (in addition to location, road materials, weather, etc.). If I really pay attention and anticipate things I can maybe add .5 mpg...

Foam cup holder in the door?

All the 2019s came with two but they tapered back to just the driver's door starting with MY20 or 21. I may not have an MFT, uConnect 5, trailer reverse steering control, or heated/power folding tow mirrors but I got both foam door inserts from the factory!

Anyone ACTUALLY running 5w-30 or even 10w-30? Thoughts? Experience? Any REAL TRUTH to throwing a code running higher weight oil (no conjecture please)

My '02 Toyota Tercel had the filter inverted and near the exhaust manifold. If you didn't burn yourself on the manifold you were probably caught in the oil shower streaming down the block. Even with my 4x4 I have very little spillage as I have revised my process over my 6 oil changes. I use two...

Any Drawbacks to 33 Gallon Tank?

Must have for me too. ~500 miles to empty when I fill up. I remember when the limit was $50. I had a diesel F-250 back in 2008 when fuel was $5+/gallon. You'd watch a movie on your phone when you were in line for the pump because you knew everybody in line for the "green handle" was going to be...

    Ebay clone bumper steps

You get what you pay for. You may find a good deal on a knock-off but, even if it fits, I would not anticipate the same life span (as NorthStar metioned). The name-brand aftermarket options are not that much cheaper. While they may have more surface area to step on, the OEM bumper step is more...

    Curious Tire Wear

I also have heard that you need to disable the lane keep assist otherwise it interferes with the alignment also.

    Curious Tire Wear

Was the alignment check at the dealership or a shop that knows what they're doing? As much as the dealership is a one-stop-shop for everything that does not mean they are good at it. Some may be, but overall I would not consider them 'experts' in that field. My truck was in spec. Good tire...

    Let’s see your coffee mug!

Thank you for your service. In my young days I would drink my coffee "neat" (dark and strong enough to sift the grounds through my teeth) when pulling an all-nighter cramming for an exam or finishing the term paper I put off for 3 months. Nowadays there's plenty of sweetener and heavy cream for...

    Let’s see your coffee mug!

I've never been a fan of their coffee whether it's from their store or if I brew it at home. There are plenty of coffee shops around but Starbucks is "the place" around here and there's always a line in the drive-thru (that's pre-COVID too), even when they are only blocks apart. My wife and I...

12 volt power supply on the top of dash question

I'm not sure about the Canadian trucks but my USB ports are active (have power for charging) for 1 or 2 hours after you turn off the truck (I don't remember if it's 1 hour or 2).

    Vehicle Service/Maintenance with Dealers

Jack Powell in Escondido. Family-owned and not in a conglomerate of dealerships so definitely has a more personal feel. They are busy as all dealerships are (they are the only Chrysler service department open on Saturday) but they do good work and all the service staff I've come across are nice...

    Vehicle Service/Maintenance with Dealers

I travel for service but not as far as you. I bought my truck at a dealership 120 miles away. I have it serviced at a closer dealership which is only 20 miles away. There are several RAM dealerships closer than that ro me (including about 2 miles) but they are all difficult to deal with and...

    New Software

It's for all uConnect users in that group. The NAV is two different animals. The interface which is uConnect and the maps which are a paid service to update. The website has always told me that my software is up-to-date. It has never told me there was an update (I've had the truck almost 3...
