Personally, I would only buy a 3/4 ton if I truly had a need for one. Likely worse gas mileage, not a given though. Stiffer ride, and just plain more cumbersome. A half ton suits my needs fine, but if you need the extra payload and towing capacity you ultimately will regret not getting it.
They always say they have never heard of this problem, If they said they know of the problem they would be more on the hook to fix it. They will likely tell you it's normal. Good luck.
Like every manufacturer of anything, the available supply goes to new product. What is left ove,r the shortage (due to pandemic) is what goes as spare parts for repair. It may not be right, but no company is going to reserve parts for spares rather than incorporate them into new product.
There is an ongoing worldwide pandemic, it has not magically gone away as someone predicted it would. Your situation sucks, but the parts supply problem is the fault of the virus, not any one company. Chill
I have the standard system. I used Faitalpro 8 ohm in the dash with crutchfield 600hz bass blockers. I am happy. I avoided the kicker and infinity's because I did not want a tweeter in the dash. The stock speakers in the dash of the base six speaker system are 8 ohm. Stay with 8 ohm and no...
Most internet prices in my area say "our no BS price", they include every possible discount to get you in the door. Of course you wont qualify for them all. A couple list out the discounts which is much better. I love the "2020 Laramie, MSRP $58,020 - our price $42,750. If that were real...
Picking up parts doesn't hold a lot of water with me. Our fleet shop at work can get parts from any parts store in the area delivered within the hour. I understand that they have to drive them to test, but parked at a shopping center invites door dings. When I park in a lot it is done to protect...
I put in Faitalpro's 8ohm with the 600hz blockers from Crutchfield. They deliver a smooth sound. Before I installed the blockers they pulled some mid-bass from the door speakers, after the blockers I got the mid-bass in the doors back. I am very happy with the Failalpro dash speakers, they are...
According to him, Ford will fix problems outside of warranty. Nice company, compassionate and caring. Lifetime unlimited mileage warranties at no extra charge.
I don't have the MFT, on a similar thread, many had the same problem as you with the MFT, I also had it on my standard tailgate. After a couple of months it must have "wore in" It no longer causes me any problems. The same was said by others on the MFT thread. It seems to get better with time.
I bought the Tonno Pro hard trifold. Just a soft cover with thin aluminum panels underneath. Got it on sale for $409 on Amazon, fits and looks great. It just has the standard under clamps noting fancy, but it serves it's purpose, minor leakage from the seal, but not bad.
I have always been a silver/gray kind of guy. I have a bighorn, night in granite also. I love it, but at times I wish the gray was a little lighter, mainly to keep it looking cleaner. If I had it to do over I would go silver/night. No matter what color you buy you will always question your...
