    Wild Electrical issues fixed

Got word back from the shop, wiring harnesses are good. No corrosion on any connectors, and they were also cleaned during the process. The notorious RF hub behind the rear seat has no signs of water damage. I should be able to pickup the truck today and hope to ask more questions in person. So...

    Wild Electrical issues fixed

I heard about the module behind the rear seat getting wet from the leaky rear windows and fritzing and the bad battery. Battery is currently 12.8 volts, but will be load tested soon. It's going to get diagnosed for gremlins on Monday. So we'll see! Cellphone video of the dead gauge cluster in...

    Wild Electrical issues fixed

Had a similar experience this afternoon. It might be catchy. It started with a "Service Shifter" message and then lit up every CEL on the dash. The truck then turned up the radio volume, turned on the wipers of its own accord, kicked the engine fan to full speed, and lost power steering, and the...

Transmission falling out of Drive on downshift, blinking, displaying "shift to P" and back

Good morning arbitrary drop into neutral support group, Checking in, and an update today April 5, 2023 - After thoroughly cleaning the TB in August of 2022, my 2019 Rebel has not done it since. I didn't think it was even that dirty, I've seen far worse on running vehicles. Hope no one has been...

Transmission falling out of Drive on downshift, blinking, displaying "shift to P" and back

Oof, 20K miles, that sounds alike a lot of neutral slips. Buried somewhere in this thread is a picture of my TB with some gunk on it, from when I cleaned mine, and it wasn't that dirty IMO. Would you be willing to take a photo of yours with gunk on it and post it here? I feel like I should be...

Looking For Tips on First Time Lift - 2020 Ram Rebel

A ~3" lift with stock rims, and larger than stock tires, may cause the larger tires to rub against the UCA. Suggest putting stock rims and stock tires back on the vehicle first after the lift, then taking a measurement between the tire sidewall and the UCA. It may require a wheel spacer or a...

Looking For Tips on First Time Lift - 2020 Ram Rebel

Oh the dreaded: "bag of misc bolts/nuts" and $$$$, and no direction, it certainly make things more challenging and a potential for failure later. So I bought the system from CJC, and told them about the leak. They were very responsive and told me to bring it by their shop. After I got the...

Looking For Tips on First Time Lift - 2020 Ram Rebel

I have heard that the Expedition One bumpers lacked, anything like instructions. But, who doesn't love a good puzzle! Went with the King option and they are not adjustable, so a tad simpler. Ended up modifying a Harbor Freight puller to fit over the extra large UCA spindle bolt. The install...

Looking For Tips on First Time Lift - 2020 Ram Rebel

Great pics of your RAM, and holy crap, air! Great rundown on shock size/operation. Wish I had a lift, took me about 12 hours in a dirt driveway. Found the Carli installation instructions to be detailed and incredibly helpful.

Looking For Tips on First Time Lift - 2020 Ram Rebel

I installed the Carli Performance System myself in my driveway. I bought the Performance System from CJC Offroad in Long Beach, who provided a lot of technical support, they even checked the nitrogen charge for free once I finished with the installation. If you are near Long Beach, I'd...

Looking For Tips on First Time Lift - 2020 Ram Rebel

I went with a Carli suspension recently, seems fine so far. Here's a link for your research, it's an interesting read on their lift development: https://carlisuspension.com/201-ram-1500-4x4-hemi-and-ecodiesel/ I concur, it depends... I am also a proponent of buy once, cry once.

Transmission falling out of Drive on downshift, blinking, displaying "shift to P" and back

Great news! Getting ready to service my transmission, which ATF did you end up using?

Transmission falling out of Drive on downshift, blinking, displaying "shift to P" and back

Mine started around 50K miles, cleaned the TB, and poof, symptom gone. The cleaning seems to be the only potential fix, it worked for you and I and some others, AND it also has not worked for others. The word befuddled comes to mind. It's as frustrating as tracking down a bad ground 🤬.

Transmission falling out of Drive on downshift, blinking, displaying "shift to P" and back

One would think... Any programmer/coding gurus on here? I'm more of an analog guy:unsure:.

Transmission falling out of Drive on downshift, blinking, displaying "shift to P" and back

The selector would show neutral, and it would flash on the dash "Shift to park..."

When my truck was dropping into neutral, it also never showed a CEL either.

    Jerry Can fill issues

The funnel is a good suggestion! I know it's not Rotopax, however, I've been filling my truck with Wavian fuel (gasoline) cans with the EPA spout with no problems, and have not had to use the supplied funnel. It's a slow process, but it does not spill.

Transmission falling out of Drive on downshift, blinking, displaying "shift to P" and back

Not amazed either. Well, RAM already got our money, we're on our own, I guess. YAY profits! TB cleaning works for some of us, not for others. 🤷‍♂️ Even so, I still like the truck, and I have been fixing the quirks/defects as they come up.

Sway Bar Link Pins/Bushing upgrade for 2019-2022 Ram 1500

Thank you for doing all the research, this helped me quite a bit. My Rebel is lifted ~2.25" over stock height and after a couple months the front end started clunking at low speed over small bumps. Disconnected the front sway bar and the clunks went away, so off to all the links (pun!) provided...
