My Rebel came from the factory with Mopar tubular running boards. Before I ever saw my truck the dealer removed them to put on another customers truck.
The dealer replaced them with Mopar running boards long before I ever saw the truck. I'm not sure what the originals look like but I've seen...
I want to avoid LSPI low speed pre ignition. These engines have cast pistons and can potentially crack after repeated detonation.
The manual says it can run on regular fuel and Direct Connection states for the Cat 1 engine (the 3.0L SO) to use Premium. I too want the most performance from this...
My Off Road Pages are working properly now. I don't know what changed maybe some update occurred on Uconnect since it prompted me about doing updates over wifi.
Last night I opened Off Road Pages and the transfer case displays "unlocked" and there isn't the lock icon.
In 4wd High or Low it...
The GT was suppose to have the cold end performance exhaust. So it doesn't sound any different than the other Hurricane SO engines?
Does the Performance Pages show Boost or Intercooler Air Intake Temp like the RHO ?
On my 2023 Laramie I installed the G/T exhaust and it sounded great. How does the exhaust sound on the 2025 G/T it's suppose to be performance oriented like the previous G/T's ?
Remember it's a Rebel with A/T tires, 3.92 gears, 1" factory lift and Winter blend fuel so none of this contributes to awesome mileage.
My 2023 Laramie with 3.92 gears and 22's got worse overall mileage at 15.61 mpg. The 2025 Rebel overall mileage is 17.42 mpg lowest 15.7 highest 20.1 hand...
After 5,500 miles my hand calculated average is 17.42 mpg using only premium fuel.
The tank refills ranged from the highest 20.1 mpg down to 15.7 mpg .
Rebel X and GT are 2 different packages. Selecting GT Package alone requires Rebel Level 2 Equipment Group too.
Unique to the GT package are the Performance Pages and Passive Cold End Exhaust where the Rebel X doesn't have them.
From the various YT videos interviewing the RAM engineers about the RHO. They claim the peak hp doesn't change but the mid range power is increased over the other HO equipped models.
The 3.0 Hurricane engine has been around for over 2 years used in the Jeep Wagoneer platform. It's 2.0L Hurricane cousin has been used since 2018.
I would not worry about the thermostat since all 2025 RAM are using the 4th revision. So far I have 5,500 miles on my SO and it's not perfect.
I'm...
The RHO is similar design but doesn't have side openings in the airbox that seals against the hood where air is feed from the hood scoop.
I'm curious how that works with a snow packed hood scoop opening.
The K&N is open on top and the lower part of the front like the stock air box. Reading the K&N cai instructions the factory radiator air tube is retained.
Both companies replace the rigid plenum silencer tube connecting from the air box corrugated rubber tube to the pressure control actuator...
Those stickers are based on trucks with street tires and 3.55 gears. Rebels have skid plates, 33" A/T tires and 3.92 gears with 5,200 miles my overall mileage is 17.5 with premium fuel.
Try to spin the front driveshaft by hand when it's parked. My 2024 Wrangler Rubicon when parked in 2WD I cannot spin the front driveshaft by hand but I can for the Rebel.
I got 17.2 mpg hand calculated with the last fill up and the truck indicated 17.0 mpg.
It increased by 1 mpg from the previous fill up maybe that recently installed Rough Country soft tri fold bed cover helped.
