That is true as long as you don't mind being without your truck, while you still make payments on it, for however long it takes to fix it. Or, like in the case of mine, they (ram) apparently do not yet know HOW to fix it. I must admit, I'm perplexed as to how you got your dealer to work in a...
I called ram service or whatever it's called and requested a buyback. The lady said they'll talk to the dealership it's at and I should hear from someone in 2 to 3 business days.
My truck is in the shop for the 3rd time for the same misfire problem, a star case is opened, and nothing is getting done. I'll probably never trust this truck again, so I'd like to start the buyback ball rolling. How do I do that?
It's kinda odd, the only trim level you can get an engine upgrade in is the big horn if I remember correctly. The pentastar is standard and the SO hurricane is optional. Given a choice to upgrade my laramie to HO I almost certainly would have.
You might want to block out your name and address on the picture you posted above. I would not be surprised if bots went through lots of internet sites looking for info like that to collect and sell.
It's about to be, I think. I have not yet requested a buyback, but I likely will be soon. At least I don't have a bunch of *******s for a dealership, they've been great throughout all this.
Service department called me today and asked if I wanted to put some miles on my truck this weekend and report back Monday. Star had them replace the maf. They haven't closed the ticket yet because they want to leave it open while some miles are put on it. That way, if it does it again they...
I swung by my dealer yesterday and popped in to see what was happening, they said a star case is open on my truck now. I guess that means more people are looking at it?
I will not buy another ram truck anytime soon. Note that I didn't say never, but it'll take a while before I'm convinced they have the lid sat on, so to speak. Same with ford-I was considering a ford, but their qc is a hot mess right now too, as is toyota's apparently. Same with gm and their...
Well, mine's back at it again. Severe bucking and stumbling, very little power. Same codes-0300 to 0306. I already dropped it off at the dealer. This truck has had an improperly installed charge air hose seal replaced or fixed, injectors recalibrated, and the new flash applied.
Yeah, AAM has made all 3/4 and 1 ton dodge/ram rearends since 2003 as far as I know. I seem to recall that hemi r/t's got a dana 60 with 4.10 gears, too. Nothing wrong with a dana 60, they're pretty strong.
I think I may have felt that occasionally. First thing that went through my mind was "I hope it isn't the converter clutch chattering". Then it went away and I forgot about it. Given the other problems I've had with this truck, I tend to not focus on seemingly small things much.
