No at least for me and appears a lot of others the search returns zero results so it is not usable not even non smart. The only work around that works for me is to use the Sirius app an send a destination to the vehicle, however this has also had its and did not work work either for about 4...

Basically what I told them last time they had mine several times with zero outcome. Last time I told them I will not bring it in anymore without them being able to convince me that they actually have a solution for the existing problems... then they gave me a speech about they can’t do anything...
@RamCares will do **** the most they will do is ask you to send them a pm they will then tell you to go to a dealer and the cycle starts from the beginning...

Same here search offline and returns if any results that are incomplete and outdated same for voice search. My guardian services are also active since the first day I got the truck in November, currently i can search for addresses and poi’s in the app and send it to the truck also other remote...
Sorry patent nonsense!!! It absolutely is RAM / FCA causing the issue and the non responsiveness is their fault! I feel for the employees getting the sh it but sorry they are the frontline of the company that currently behaves in an absolute inappropriate way. And it’s their employer who chooses...
Good point I started marking posts of @RamCares as spam as they are copy paste and useless.

Rebates imho are worth nothing other than being tricks to make you feel good... all that counts is the end price you pay and anyone can achieve good pricing the most important thing is do research and know what you want to pay before you walk in the dealership...

I’ve come to that point multiple times when I called them about my not functioning 12” nav. They go down a question and answer tree and get to the point where they say you have to pay amount X00$ to unlock the nav functionality... Then I’m like no that’s for the 8.4” I got the 12” it is there...
That’s what bothers me the most... it would be a total different ballgame if they’d say we know, we are sorry, we are working on it... expect something to be done by / update expected... have a bug fixing list somewhere where fca actually acknowledges the issues and commit to be working on it...
The search does not return any results, ever, I can type in an exact address number, street name, city, state, zip in any combination and it won’t return any results. Poi search returns nothing... when I call customer service they go down their question / answer tree and end up in the you have...
How about getting the nav working at all in the first place? Still no searches working whatsoever no street addresses, no poi’s no nothing... and that’s since I first got the truck not a word from fca... I bet it is never going to work... the 2020s will have their own software versions and it...
The next major bug fix will be called 2020 Ram 1500 - anyone seriously thinking they will fix anything? It’s too convenient for fca to finger point on uconnect - UConnect on Sirius - Sirius on fca

Lived in China for 6 years and I never had any more freedom anywhere in the world... there are a few things you don’t mess around with like political stuff but beyond that nobody gives a **** whatsoever... and the Chinese are very well aware of what’s going on and how to get around if they need...
I think it’s all tied to the same internet connection problem that is also causing the nav being offline... problem is / will be all these issues will be a never ending ping pong story between Sirius unconnected and fca

Does not work plus if it just was the app would be bearable but the 12” uconnect nav in the car doesn’t work either useless pos btw CarPlay now starts crapping out as well can’t load lists from phone until you actually open the app on the phone ie Spotify, podcast app, overcast, Apple Music...
