This probably just me, but wouldn't you want to know how much you're loading on the truck before you actually load it? Seems like you could potentially save some labor by not unloading.

I suppose it's possible, but I think unlikely for this particular part. It's more likely that the sales person in charge of ordering at the dealership just checks off default boxes unknowing of the standard equipment. That's why for every Ram on a dealer's lot with the Canyon Brown interior...
I drove a Ram 1500 4x4 a few years ago with the Pentastar V6 and I was truly impressed with its performance. I have neighbor with one and he claims 20 MPG around town and a consistent 28 on the road.
Best of luck with your new truck. Enjoy!

I've seen dozens of tinted window jobs and never seen anything like that.

It's hard to judge from your description of the problem. How much dust is "so dusty." I get some accumulation over the course of 10-15 days, but compared to my past vehicles it's 95% less. I think most of that comes just from opening and closing the doors.
Dust can get into the...
I know exactly what the original poster is saying. I had this problem on my 2014 with the 8-speed. I quick tapped the brake and shifted, rarely did the rollers pushing the vehicle go under the tires.
My 2019 is different. As long as the vehicle is rolling enough to see 1 MPH on the speedometer...
Relative to the supposed issues surrounding MDS, specifically reliability, all of the "theories" put forth as to why there's lifter/camshaft failures are just that - theories. So far nothing has been empirically proven to be the cause, whether it be high idle time, poor lubrication or other...
The DT service manual reads as follows:
Operate the HVAC system under the following conditions.
Engine at 1,000 rpm at operating temperature
Door and windows closed
Transmission in PARK or NEUTRAL with parking brake set (depending on transmission application)
A/C heater controls set to...
The only vehicle I've ever driven with Start/Stop was a golf card.
This is my third Ram with MDS. Works great and never been an issue on any Rams that I've owned.

Well, I know you can do it because I switched that feature off on mine for the very same reason. I just can't remember how I did it. I have the 8.4 inch screen, if it matters. Let me go through the menu again and maybe it will jog my memory.

My 2010 and 2014 Hemis came with the MO-899 filter (04884899A), which has a slightly larger body and increased media. Apparently sometime in the 2014 production run the factory began shipping 5.7 Ram 1500s with the smaller MO-339 (04892339A) oil filter. Although the MO-899 is now spec'd for the...
I concur. I track all my fills and to-date my life time average fuel economy is 19.74 MPG (hand calculated) with a life time EVIC error rate of + 0.19%.
Judging from one fill to the next can be misleading, and I've recorded fills where the EVIC is off 4-6% to the positive. I've also recorded...
They ordered a whole new upper glove box for mine because the tech. said there was no way to adjust the cam that actuates the switch.

"Classic" means it is the 4th generation Ram 1500, body code DS, as apart from the 5th generation (current generation, 2019 and up) which are body code DT. The 4th gen Classics were so popular they continued production after the 5th gen release. Other than engine and drivetrain there are few...
Because you state that the vehicle is an SLT, I'm suspicious you are looking at a 4th generation Ram, or what is now known as a Ram Classic.
Can you supply us with a VIN number?
