Coating/sealant used on door panel plastic?

Maybe there is a misunderstanding. I'm wanting to reseal the plastic, not clean/strip it. It's clean currently. Judging by the lack of shine and the abrasive feel of it, I'm suspecting acetone was used as a quick cleanup.

    Black screen of death

Mine did this a few times in the colder months. Suspect it was just a connection issue. I disconnected the plug and did find a bit of corrosion. Suspect water intrusion. Cleaned the connector, applied some dielectric grease, and it's been fine for a few months now.

Coating/sealant used on door panel plastic?

It's not worth replacing the door panels nor having to deal with insurance months later. I'm just now getting around to having some free time back and want to get them sealed before the good ol NC summer sun shows up. I just need to reseal the top most portion (where you would rest your arm if...

Coating/sealant used on door panel plastic?

I did, but due to my schedule, it's easier for me to respray them.

Coating/sealant used on door panel plastic?

Very random question: Does anyone know how or what is used to seal the cosmetic plastic on interior door panels? Reason asking, I had a windshield replaced recently and apparently it wasn't a smooth job for the glass shop. Seems they got urethane all over everything and the door panels...

    Would anyone have…..

Here is the schematic from a 21 so you won't have to dig as much. As others have stated, I highly doubt it's changed for 22.

Can the hemi run on e15?

Why not convert Mexican black tar heroine? That's got to be at least 97 octane right? It's not our East coast stump water, but it's a solid start.

Weirdest things to ruin a tire?

Craziest thing I've ever seen in a tire is a double stack 9mm magazine. Wasn't my tire, but a good friend....and it wasn't his magazine. LOL

Likewise. I report the spam when I see it. Really enjoy the board here. Hate spammers more than I hate Ford. :)

Yeah, I've had to deal with the same thing. Even went as far as disabling new registrations for several days in an attempt to pick though any suspect account. And as mentioned, some were years old.

Oh I know. No worries bud! As far as this forums user authentication, I'm unaware how it is currently setup for new members. Might be wise to turn on admin/moderator member approval for a few days. That usually makes them go away.

Having been an admin on multiple forums from everything from SimpleMachine software, Vbulletin, etc... there are steps that can be deployed for the user registration process that greatly limits the amount of trash that gets in.

    Exhaust Manifold Leak

I sure hope so because the ol 4.7 engine was a manifold bolt eater as well. Had a stud fail on both sides of my previsous 2014 5.7 Grand Cherokee at at 37K. But I also drove the crap out of it. wouldn't ya know, had a stud break around 38K on my Ram. Wasn't a big deal to fix since it didn't...

    Exhaust Manifold Leak

Might depend on region. Down here where I am in, I see 1 cracked manifold to probably 10-15 vehicles with broken studs.

Front windows tinted installer said he couldn’t cover the corners

That gasket didn't cut itself... Got cut while the installer was doing the soft fit from the outside. Bet.

Beer - what are you drinking / brewing thread

I make mead as well. 6 gallon bucket for the win. Stuff it in a closet and forget it for a few months until it starts to clear.

Beer - what are you drinking / brewing thread

I don't use Untappd. However, the next brew on deck will be an oatmeal, cinnamon, raisin, and rum cookie stout.

Hard to find solution to weird noise ( dying whale)

I'm not saying this is your issue or a fix for your issue, but I did run into something similar. Ended up being a premature u-joint failure at the front of the rear drive shaft. The joint in question wasn't bound up per say, but did have several bad needle bearings within one of the cups that...

Leaking fuel - part number needed

Do not know the hose size, but know for a fact you have to get the complete fuel rail assembly as that hose in question is not offered separately. As with most fuel hoses, best guess is that it's probably a 3/8" inner diameter.
