I didn't opt for the 8" but I went with a Skar Audio single 12" ported enclosure with a Skar shallow mount 800w dual voice coil. It's PLENTY of sound and I still have the driver side under seat area clear. Plenty of sound for the price.
Nope. You don't have to lock it depending what type of machine you have.
If it has air suspension, it must be set to aero/sport mode on most Dodge/Jeep/Ram vehicles.
Completely agree. Just call and be polite. Tell them the steering wheel is off center. Everybody makes mistakes and...
With the newer alignment systems (especially Hunter Hawkeye Elite), locking the steering wheel is a thing of the past. You can position the steering wheel where you want it, and roll on with the adjustments.
A few things could cause this.
-They botched the initial measurements
-Incorrect...
Yes. 8.4 with NAV. NON Alpine/amped. With ANC(bypassed) They perform ok just being powered from radio. I'll eventually get around to amping them being I'm having to install a line out converter anyways for the sub amp. The new LOC will also help with defeating the bass roll off with...
Good deal. I'm most likely going a different route with a single 12 and an enclosure that will fit under the seat without any overhang. If the single sub doesn't tickle my fancy, I'll already have everything ran cable wise, so I'll just sacrifice all of the rear underseat area and roll with a...
No separate fuse just for the switch as it controls multiple circuits. As stated above, I'd check and double check the connections to the switch itself. While not very common, I have seen a few failed switches.
I had the standard mirrors with the corner convex. They are definitely useable for lack of a better word. Bought some Boost Auto Parts plug and play tow mirrors and towing is much more pleasant now.
Not going crazy as it's the "work" truck. Sometimes less is more, so keeping it subtle. Just installed some Morimotos because both of the stock halogen housings suffered a seal issue without warning. Yay Ram.
Depends on what you are trying to do. The tool communicates with Autel servers for pretty much everything. I know for a fact that if you attempt any bidirectional control or programming with the Autel MaxiSys 9006TS, you will need:
1: An active Autel subscription. ($500ish per year depending...
Gotcha. Never been a fan of the dealer touching my tires or wheels. But that's me just being me. :) The only reason I mentioned aftermarket is that I have lost count how many I've had to replace for customers.
Plenty of aftermarket stems that will work with the OEM TPMS sensors. Street price is usually around $8 plus install. Any reputable tire store can remedy this for you in less than 20 minutes.
